RAMON S. ANG
Ramon S. Ang is the Vice Chairman since January 28,
1999, President and Chief Operating Officer since March 6,
2002, of San Miguel Corporation. Ramon Ang is a
Mechanical Engineer, a Business Magnate, and a
Philanthropist. He also holds, among others, the following
positions: President and Chief Executive Officer of Top
Frontier Investment Holdings Inc.; Chairman of the San
Miguel Brewery Inc. and San Miguel Brewery Hong Kong
Limited, Petron Corporation, Sea Refinery Corporation, and many more. He also owns a
substantial stake in Eagle Cement, which he took public in 2016. The company is increasing its

In the early 1980s, Ramon was recruited to become the general manager of Northern
Cement, a firm controlled by the elder Cojuangco. Later, he was appointed as a trusted executive
of San Miguel Corporation, the country’s biggest beer, food and packaging company which was
then controlled by Cojuangco. As President and COO, he engineered the diversification of San
Miguel into unrelated industries such as petroleum, infrastructure, and power generation.
Personally, he invested in hotel and property development, cement, and a host of other
businesses.
In 2010, Ramon opened one of the biggest cement production plants in the country. It is owned
by Eagle cement Corporation, a company he personally controlled. In 2017, he entered the
newspaper industry by acquiring Philippine Daily Inquirer, the country’s largest daily. For his
visionary leadership, significant and long-term contributions to the country, and unprecedented
response to the COVID-19 pandemic, San Miguel Corporation (SMC) president and chief
operating officer Ramon S. Ang (RSA) was given the prestigious Lifetime Contributor Award for
the private sector at the 2020 Asia CEO Awards, touted to be the largest business awards in the
country and Asia in recent times.

GERONIMO Z. VELASCO
The late mechanical engineer Ronnie Velasco was
winner of the 1977 Management Man of the Year Award, first
president of Philippine National Oil Company (PNOC). He
was chairman of Republic Glass Holdings Corp. which used
to own the pioneer factory supplying 70 percent of Philippine
glass requirements for home and building construction since
1956. The firm sold its shares in Republic-Asahi Glass Corp.
to its Japanese partner Asahi Glass in 2001. Velasco was a
protégé of the smart yet controversial American Jewish self-
made tycoon Harry Stonehill, who tasked Velasco in the late
1950s with building the Philippines’ pioneer glass
manufacturing factory. Velasco also served as energy minister from 1978 to 1986, implementing
President Marcos’s then strategic goal of reducing Philippine dependence on imported oil. He
managed Stanvac, a branch of Standard Vacuum Oil Company of America. This company was
bought out by the Philippine government and converted to Petrophil. He became the chairman
and president of the Philippine National Oil Company, which imports billions
of dollars' worth of crude oil needed by the country.
The Philippine National Oil Company (PNOC) is an energy company
created on November 9, 1973 as a government-owned and controlled
corporation founded under martial law President Ferdinand Marcos' era to
supply oil to the Philippines. Since then, its charter has been amended several
times to include exploration, exploitation and development of all energy
resources in the country. Philippine National Oil Company explores, develops,
and generates geothermal steam electricity. The Company also mines coal,
refines oil, and explores for oil and gas.

SATYA NADELLA
Satya Nadella, in full Satya Narayana Nadella,
(born August 19, 1967, Hyderabad, India), Indian-born business
executive who was CEO of the computer software
company Microsoft (2014–until now). Nadella attended
the Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet before going on to the
Manipal Institute of Technology, which was then part of
Mangalore University, in Karnataka. He received his bachelor’s
degree in electrical engineering from the university in 1988.
Nadella then earned his masters of science in computer science

Currently, Satya Nadella is the Chief Executive Officer of the company Microsoft. One
of Satya Nadella’s greatest accomplishments was pioneering the ‘Cloud computing’ division of
‘Microsoft’. The annual turnover contributed by this division of the business was $16.6 Billion in
2011, when he was just appointed its head. In a matter of three years, the turnover saw a
significant increase to around $20.6 Billion. He was recognized as the Time 100 honoree in
2018. He was named Financial Times Person of the Year in 2019.He was the Fortune magazine
Businessperson of the Year in 2019. He was recently recognized as Global Indian Business Icon
at CNBC-TV18's India Business Leader Awards in Mumbai in the year 2020.
Microsoft is an American multinational computer technology corporation whose
history started 4th April 1975. Formed by Harvard College dropout, Bill Gates and his
childhood friend Paul Allen, Microsoft has now
become the biggest software company. It is also one
of the most valuable companies in the world.

DENISE GRAY
Denise Gray is President of LG Energy Solution
Michigan Inc. Tech Center, the North American subsidiary of LG
Chem (LGC), Korea. In this position, she leads a team of more
than 150 people who provide electrification solutions to the
transportation industry. Denise holds several board of director
positions, including, LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc.,

His major achievements include the launch of
Google Chrome as he is the mastermind behind one of the
best browsers in the world. He also has a major role in the
development of the same. He became the Vice President
of product development in Google in 2008. In 2012, he
became the senior Vice President of Chrome and other Google apps. The very next year, he was
made the in-charge of Android as the previous professional left to work on another project. And,
he made Android quite successful. Back in 2019, Sundar Pichai received the prestigious Global
Leadership Awards 2019 by USIBC (US-India Business Council) based in Washington.

JEFF BEZOS
Jeff Bezos , byname of Jeffrey Preston Bezos,
(born January 12, 1964, Albuquerque, New Mexico, U.S.),
American entrepreneur who played a key role in the growth
of e-commerce as the founder and chief executive officer
of Amazon.com, Inc., an online merchant of books and
later of a wide variety of products. Under his guidance,
Amazon became the largest retailer on the World Wide
Web and the model for Internet sales. His successful
business ventures have made him one of the richest people
in the world. In February 2018, Bezos was elected to
the National Academy of Engineering for "leadership and innovation in space exploration,
autonomous systems, and building a commercial pathway for human space flight". In March
2018, at the Explorers Club annual dinner, he was awarded the Buzz Aldrin Space Exploration
Award in recognition of his work with Blue Origin. He received Germany's 2018 Axel Springer

TIM COOK
Apple CEO Tim Cook graduated from Auburn
University with a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering
and earned an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School
of Business. Following a 12-year career at IBM, Cook went
on to executive roles at Intelligent Electronics and Compaq,
before joining Apple in 1998. In August 2011, Cook was
named Apple's new CEO, following the death of
predecessor Steve Jobs.
Tim Cook joined ‘Apple Inc.’ at a time when the
company was struggling. Within a year of his joining the
company, ‘Apple’ started registering profits. Over the years, it became one of the world’s largest
information technology companies by revenue. Cook, along with former Apple CEO Steve Jobs,
is credited to have played a major role in the company’s resurrection . In August 2011, Cook was
named Apple's new CEO, taking over the position for former CEO and Apple co-founder Steve
Jobs, who died in October 2011 after a years-long battle with cancer. In addition to serving as
CEO, Cook sits on the corporation's board of directors. He was named one of ‘Forbes’
magazine's ‘World's Most Powerful People’ in 2011. In 2015, Cook was inducted into the
‘Alabama Academy of Honor,’ the highest honor given by Alabama to its citizens. He received

DENNIS A. MUILENBURG
Dennis Muilenburg joined Boeing in 1985. He served
as president from December 2013 to December 2019, as
CEO from July 2015 to December 2019, and as chairman of
the board from March 2016 to October 2019. Until July
2015, Muilenburg served as vice chairman, president and
chief operating officer of Boeing, where he supported the
company's aerospace business operations and focused on
specific growth enablers, including important global
relationships, leadership initiatives and development program
performance.
Muilenburg held numerous management and
engineering positions on various Boeing programs, including
the X-32 (Boeing's entry in the Joint Strike
Fighter competition); Boeing's participation in the Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor fighter;

Known by many as the “Bill Gates of the Philippines,”
Diosdado “Dado” P Banatao Jr is an engineer, inventor,
entrepreneur, aviator, and philanthropist from Iguig, Cagayan
Valley. He is the Chief Executive officer of Ikanos
Communications, Incorporated. He is the founder of the
Philippine Development Foundation, Dado Banatao Educational
Foundation, and Banatao Filipino-American Fund as well as the
founder and managing partner of the highly successful Silicon
Valley-based firm Tallwood Venture Capital. In his heyday, he
created the PC chipset and the Windows Graphics accelerator chip, which can be found in every
personal computer today.
Banatao has been honored and awarded for his significant contribution in technology that
includes Asian Leadership Award in 1993, Pamana Ng Filipino Award and Master Entrepreneur
of the Year Award in 1997 and many others. He has always emphasized on providing better
education system to the youngsters for which he himself involved in doing charity work in the
Philippines by awarding five educational scholarships to intelligent Filipino students for their
bright futures in engineering and technology through his Dado Banatao Educational Foundation.
He was credited with having developed the first 10-Mbit Ethernet CMOS with silicon coupler
data-link control and transceiver chip, the first system logic chip set for IBM's PC-XT and the
PC-AT, and the local bus concept and the first Windows Graphics accelerator chip for personal
computers. A three-time start-up veteran, he co-founded Mostron, Chips and Technologies, and
S3 Graphics.
Ikanos Communications, Incorporated, was a provider of
semiconductor and software products for use in homes. It was
headquartered in Fremont, California. The company’s digital
subscriber line, communications processors and other products were
used in customer premises equipment from network equipment
manufacturers and telecommunications service providers.
