It is extremely important to improve and level up your spoken English
skills. Your future, pay raise, academics and your future will depend a
lot on how fluent and effective you are with regards to your English and
communication skills.
Here are the tips that I have for you to step up and improve your English
skills:
1) Read, Read and Read. As simple as it may sound, read as much as
you can. Read editorials of newspapers, read magazines, novels or
books, read blogs, articles or read anything under the sun.
2) Read editorials of: The Hindu, The Indian Express
3) Read articles from: https://www.brainpickings.org/ &
https://www.aldaily.com/
4) Read The Harvard Business Review magazine.
5) Read captions of Instagram posts.
Learn:
1) 10 new words a day from the sources that you read.
2) 5 new phrasal verbs
3) 3 new Idioms every day
4) Whatever you learn make sure you follow these steps:
a. Step 1: Understand the meaning
b. Step 2- Understand the pronunciation: Type in Google “How
to pronounce “word” and listen to the British English
pronunciation that Google offers.
c. Step 3: Make personal example sentences because this will
help you remember the words forever.

5) If you forget the words after sometime, revise the words 3 times
within the time- frame of 48 hours. Use it in your daily sentences
even if you are speaking to yourself and you will never forget it.

pronunciation, fluency and speech quality. Practice 5 new Tongue
