Getting to Know Your Mobile Hotspot

The appearance of the product is shown in the following figure, which is for reference only. Please refer to the real product for
the specific figure.

Insert Nano-sim
6. 1. As indicated in the figure, push the front cover open.
 1. As indicated in the figure, insert Nano-SIM card into the slot.

Warning!

1. Your device supports nano-SIM cards only. Please do not apply card or card holder of other kinds.

2. Replace front cove back to the device with alignment to snap joint and push it to the original position as indicated in the figure.

Connection of Your Device to Computer

1. Remove Modem cap and insert USB interface of your device into USB port on the computer, with automatic detection and

identification of new hardware by operation system, which in turn contributes to starting success.

Unplugging Your Device from Computer

Firstly, close application program of Modem, deleting your hardware safely; secondly, unplug Modem from the computer.

Introduction to LED Indicator Light

1. Insert USB to enable auto power-on, with GREEN light permanently on.

2. After starting, the RED light will be on under circumstances of no SIM card inserted and no network signal.
3. The GREEN light will be on when SIM card is inserted with good network signal, indicating normal use.

4. The YELLOW light will be on with weak network signal after SIM card inserted.

5. The RED light will be on when invalid card inserted.

About Connecting WIFI Network to Computer with Your Device

Note: Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password are on the tag on back cove of the device.

1. For Windows computer: Please view available networks with a single left mouse click on the task-bar and select the SSID from the list

of available networks.

2. For Mac computer: Please select INTERNET option under menu of system PREFERENCES to select the SSID from the list of

available networks.

3. For iOS equipment: Please select the SSID from the list of available networks with Wi-Fi option under SETTING menu.

4. For Android equipment: Please select the SSID from the list of available networks with Wi-Fi option under SETTING menu.

5. Input password on tag on back cover of the device.

Access Web UI with Browser

1. Start browser and input http://mobile.hotspot or input http://192.168.128.1 in address bar, with appearance of UI of Movitel Mobile

Hotspot Web in turn.

2. LOG-IN screen will be shown with single mouse click of Login option at top right corner of Web UI screen.

3. Input default password of “admin” in the provided fields.

4. Web UI screen will reemerge with single click of Login option on conditions of correct password.

Access Web UI with USB

1. Connect your device with USB port on computer through USB.

2. Operation system of the computer will accomplish detection and identification of new hardware, followed by automatic installation.

3. Open browser and input http://mobile.hotspot or input http://192.168.128.1 in address bar, which in turn will show UI screen of

Movitel Mobile Hotspot Web.

4. LOG-IN screen will be shown with single mouse click of Login option at top right corner of Web UI screen.

5. Input default password of “admin” in the provided fields.

6. Web UI screen will reemerge with single click of Login option on conditions of correct passwo

Note: Windows(32-bit and 64-bit)7/8/8.1/10 support Mac OS X 10.6 to 10.11.

Change of Administration Password of Mobile Hot-spot

1. Open browser and input http://mobile.hotspot or http://192.168.128.1 with inputting of default admin password of admin followed.

2. Single click SETTING option in navigation area.

3. Select Device Tab with a single click of Account Management followed.

4. Update password according to procedures of computer account administration.

5. Message of success will be shown with right password input to indicate success of password change.

Change of Network Name(SSID) of Mobile Hot-spot

1. pen browser and input http://mobile.hotspot or http://192.168.128.1 .

2. Single click SETTING option in navigation area.

3. Select Wi-Fi Tab with a single click of Basic followed.

4. Input a new name in Wi-Fi name(SSID) field.

5. Forbid or start network name(SSID) of mobile hot-spot with a single click of check box of “Conceal SSID”.

6. Click Save to change.

Change of Wi-Fi Password of Mobile Hot-spot

1. Open browser and input http://mobile.hotspot or http://192.168.128.1.

2. Single click SETTING option in navigation area.

3. Select Wi-Fi Tab with a single click of Basic followed.

4. Select WPA2-PSK as authentication method.

5. Input new password in field of Wi-Fi password.

6. Click Save to change.

Change of Access Status of Mobile Hot-spot

When you select the access state "Allow password access to all devices", you will allow the user to access the network with correct

password.

When you select the access status “Allow only users on the allow list”, only users who have been granted access by adding their MAC

address can connect to the network.

1. Log in Web UI screen.

2. Go to Access Permission under Connected Device Tab with default selected access state "Allow password access to all devices". then,

any user who inputs correct password can access the network.

3. Select “Allow only users on the allow list” with a single click of “Add” followed.

4. Input device name and MAC address with a single click of “Apply” followed to add the user into the allowable device list.

5. Click Save to finish change.

Note: The user will not be allowed to connect to the network any longer when you delete it from the allowable device list.

Click Delete Tab to delete.

Updating Software Version

Check the software version currently installed on your mobile hotspot.

1. Access http://mobile.hotspot or http://192.168.128.1.

2. Within the Web User Interface, go to Settings > Device > Software Updates.

3. Update with a single click of “Updating Software”

Note: Do not remove the battery during software updating. This may cause the software update to fail.
