II. Significant Insights Gained from this topic

This topic will introduce the principle of training design, the steps in developing training design,
identify the elements of training design and to prepare training design following the given elements. Each
activities of the session will introduce new learning for the teachers.

This is an output – oriented as teachers participate and tasked to provide outputs & reflect on each
activities and workshop.

It is also giving ideas and tips in preparing a slide deck or training design. The activities focuses on
the meaning, description, elements and steps in creating a training design.

The workshop 1 focuses on how to make a title of the proposed training design. The title should be
catchy, the target and number of participants, the proposed date, venue and budget should be also to
consider.

The workshop 2 focuses on the elements of the proposed training design such as proposed date and
venue, funding source and the proponent. The features of these includes context, background, situations
needs to addressed the description and features of the training program.

The workshop 3 focused on how to write rationale that has something to do with the training title and
the tips in creating effective, realistic objective is also given priorities.

III. How Important are Insights Gained to your work as Teacher/Administration

It would be a great help for the teachers to create his or her own slide deck for a training design.

It is recommended that teachers should develop and create a training design.

The topic objectives was to appreciate the importance of facilitation skills, identify different
principles of facilitation, recognize the different facilitation skills and understand the basic
requirements of facilitation. The activities will assess the effective facilitation skills, when to use
facilitation, the six basic facilitation principles. The facilitator must consider the effective
communication skills and the responsibilities the not to do and to do as facilitator

III. How Important Are Insight Gained to your work as Administrator.

The activities will be a great help for the participant to gain more knowledge about facilitation.

It is recommended that teachers should be experienced as facilitator in School level to continuously grow & improve
professional growth and development.
