Assist the teaching staff in monitoring discipline and behaviour in the learning
environment
Encourage good behaviour by commenting positively when examples are shown
Attend to the needs of the children by offering support whenever necessary
Create learning tools and display boards
Take guided reading groups and Jumpstart groups
Review range performance of products and meet producers to discuss new lines and
changes
Manage staff (many of whom were part time and temporary to keep the store working
to maximum efficiency
Compile and manage product details and samples
Establish effective working relationships with colleagues and staff under my
supervision
PERSONAL
Interests: Travel - in September 04 to December 04 I self- funded a trip around the world
in which I gained many useful insights into different cultures which will be invaluable in my
teaching.
