With this activity, you are expected to achieve the following learning
outcomes:

Design lesson plans concerning math teaching according to particular and individual context.

The activity consists of:

To propose a lesson plan concerning math teaching according to a particular and individual
context.
-Read.
-Selection of teaching Recommendations.
-Summary.
-Creation of individual lesson plan.
For the development of the activity consider that:
In the Learning Environment, you must:

-Read the suggested bibliography for the Unit 3.


-From the book: “Teaching math to young children: A practice guide” select one of the
suggested teaching Recommendations to develop a lesson plan.
-Post your selection in the collaborative forum, so your classmates know what strategy is
taken. (There has to be only one lesson plan by teaching Recommendation).
-Make and post a summary on the Teaching Recommendations you selected.
-Plan a lesson for teaching Math using the selected recommendation. (for the lesson plan you
can use a template you had from before, or an online tool to create it.)
-Post the Lesson plan in the collaborative forum.
-Give feedback to your classmates according to the selected Teaching Recommendation each
one selected.

In the Evaluation Environment, you must:

Deliver one final document that contains the summary of the selected Teaching
Strategy, and a lesson plan design using a specific teaching strategy found in the
suggested reading.

2. General Guidelines for the Development of Evidences to Submit

For Individual evidences, consider the following:


 Post on time your selection of the Teaching strategy you will use to create
your lesson plan. (There has to be only one lesson plan by teaching strategy)
 Create you lesson plan and post it in the collaborative forum to get
recommendations to improve it.
 Give topic centered feedback to your classmates.
 Deliver your lesson plan in the Evaluation Environment after taking into consideration
the recommendations made.
Please keep in mind that all individual or collaborative written products must comply
with the spelling rules and presentation conditions defined in this activity guide.
Regarding the use of references, consider that the product of this activity must
comply with APA style.
In any case, make sure you comply with the rules and avoid academic plagiarism.
You can review your written products using the Turnitin tool found in the virtual
campus.

Under the Academic Code of Conduct, the actions that infringe the academic order,
