    Jan & John Builders and Supply is an Architectural woodworks company, a hardware

    store and services provider for construction professionals, builders and home owners. Located at

    38th Osmeña St.,Arevalo 5000 Iloilo City, Philippines. The owner of this company is Antonio

    Bueno, Jr.

    “Share them and inspire others”


    Antonio Bueno, Jr. 42 years old. He finished BS ARCHITECTURE at the University of

    San Agustin. A proud member of the INC. As a regular kid who is interested in engineering and

    art, Bueno’s father, a cabinet maker and a full-time woodworker, influenced his inclination in

    craft. He does commercial arts for clients. It takes time to finish. Some in 24 hours, some in two

    months.

    2.3 IMPORTANT WORKS & PROCESS

    QUEUING KIOSK/MACHINE

    GoveSmart Software Technologies gave commission to Jan & John Builders to design and

    build their first-ever Queuing Kiosk/machine. The company's achievement for solving the

    problem of "habang pila" especially for LGU's is a success. “It was really a great opportunity to

    work with them. It made me feel special since our company made this from scratch and I am

    very proud of my work. Definitely one of our important works in the industry”
    PLAZUELA DE ILOILO, TWO STAIRCASES HANDRAILS

    In 2017, one of their first project inside a mall is the Plazuela de Iloilo, two staircases

    handrails project. Below are the progress of the staircases:

    BAMBOO WALL DÉCOR

    Somebody asked the company if they could make a bamboo wall decor out of a wood

    material and she wanted it so much. They said, "let's build!” It was a dream come true indeed. A

    Chinese-bamboo-inspired wall decor carved in a beautifully and naturally-grained Acacia

    Robles.

    KITCHEN CABINETS

    A young couple walked in to our little office and inquired about kitchen cabinets for their

    humble kitchen space. This sweet couple brought their own rendition of measurements and we

    sat down for a few strokes of pen and candid stories. After we painted the results in advance,

    they expressed delightfully, "let's do it!” The last project delivered and installed to a home sweet

    home before 2019. A sweet little project yet a dream come true indeed.

    2.3 GROUP’S REFLECTION

    Artisans are craftsmen or someone who makes handmade creation who work in textiles,
    pottery, glass and other areas. They make functional and practical artistic products in a very
    creative and beautiful manner which requires a lot of skill, their work may be individually unique
    compared to mass-produced products. In this articles case, we have an artisan who works on
    functional products such as furniture out of wood as well as decorative wood products which are
    promoted in various marketplaces and social media platform to be sold.
