Regular Programming

"Filter Lockout" message does not clear
- Turn the fryer -OFF-

- Press Program and Info at the same time, * INFO MODE*


shows on the display.
- Press and release PROG button four times to advance to the
inputs step
- With the drain closed, the input display should show "VHD" in
VHD the middle of the display. ("V" = 24 volts at the start of the
interlock chain. "H" = high limit is good
- Open the drain. The "D" should disappear, and the display
VH_ should now show "VH_". The "D" should come and go as the
drain is closed and opened.

- If the "D" stays on continuously , the problem is almost certainly


a broken drain switch. If unplugging either wire from the drain
switch then causes the "D" to vanish, this confirms the problem
is with the switch.

Product Programming

-Move the Keyswitch to the "Program" position

-Press "Select Product" to choose the product to program

-Press "Select Time" to view each product step, cook times for each step
can be changed by pressing switches below the display

-Press "Select Function" to select the item to program for each step: time,
temperature,alarms etc.

-When you are finished programming the selected product turn the
Keyswitch to the "Cook" position

Special Programming

-Move the Keyswitch to the "Program" position

-Press the Timer switch. This will put you into the Special
Program Mode. The display will read "SP".

-Press the "SELECT PRODUCT" switch and select the


number 7 product.

(4) (3) (2) (1) -By pressing the corresponding switch below the digital
display the following selections can be made:
- (1) Erases all memory
- (2) Restores Henny Penny Cooking parameters.
- (3) Toggles selection between F for fahrenheit and C for Celsius
- (4) Toggles selection between E for electric or O for gas

- Move Keyswitch to the Cook position

Basic Programming Sequence
-The password keystroke sequence must be performed to access
programming. Each switch must be pressed within one second of each
other when performing the password keystroke sequence.

-Press "SELECT TIME" switch

-Press "EXIT COOL" switch

-Press "SELECT FUNCTION" switch

-Press "EXIT FILL" switch

Special Programming

-Enter the password keystroke sequence (refer to the "Basic Programming Sequence"

-Press the "EXIT COOL" switch. Display will read "SP".

-Press cycle switch 6 for KFC (Factory Preset) Parameters

-By pressing the corresponding switch below the digital


display the following selections can be made:

- (1) Erases all memory

- (3) Toggles selection between F for fahrenheit and C for Celsius

- (4) Toggles selection between E for electric or O for gas

- Press "EXIT FILL" to exit special program mode.

Regular Programming

- Press and hold "SET and Temperature switch for at least five seconds.
A tone will sound, and the left display shows "F" and the right display
shows the set point temperature. The temperature LED and all product
LED's flash.
- Press the right UP and DOWN switches to program the temperature for all
products.

- Press the "SET" switch, the left display shows "Slct" and the right display
shows "Prod". The product LED also flashes.
- Press either the left or right UP and DOWN switches to select a product to
program, the corresponding LED will be lit.

- Pressing the SET switch allows you to scroll through and program Cook
Time, Hold Time, and Alarms,. Pressing the right UP and DOWN switches
allows you to adjust each setting.
- Press and hold the SET switch to exit program mode.

Special Program Mode

Special Program Mode allows the operator to initialize the program, or to


perform an input/output test.
- Turn Power Switch off, then press and hold the right UP and DOWN
switches while turning Power Switch back on. The left display shows
"INIT"and the right display shows "SYS".

OR - Press and hold the right UP or DOWN switch for five seconds to initialize
all settings. Special Program Mode is automatically exited if initialize is
done.
- To perform the input/output test.
- While in Special Program Mode, press the set "SET" switch.
The left display shows "10" and the right display shows "test" and then goes blank.
- All pushbuttons can now be tested, when pressed each corresponding LED
should illuminate.
- The heating circuit can be tested by pressing the TEMP switch.

- To exit the Special Program Mode press and hold the SET switch.

Product Programming (Low Level Program Mode)

- Press and hold "SET and Temperature switch for at least five seconds.
A tone will sound, and the left display shows "Slct" and the right display
shows "prod". The Product LED also flashes.
- Press either the left or right UP and DOWN switches to select a product to
program, the corresponding LED will be lit.
- Pressing the SET switch allows you to advance through and program
Cook Time, Hold Time, Temperature, and Alarms,. Pressing the right UP
and DOWN switches allows you to adjust each setting.
- Press and hold the SET switch to exit program mode.

Special Program Mode

- Turn Power Switch off, then press and hold the right UP and DOWN
switches while turning Power Switch back on.

- Once in the Special Program Mode, press the right Up and Down
switches to select Fahrenheit (F) or Celsius (C).
- Press and release the SET switch to advance through, Probe Calibration,
Timer Alarm Duration, and Hold Alarm Duration. Use the right UP and
DOWN switches to make any adjustments..
- Press the SET switch once more and the left display shows "init", and the
OR
right display shows "sys". Push and hold the right UP or DOWN switch for
five seconds to initialize all settings. Special Program Mode is
automatically exited if initialization is done.
- Press the SET once more and the left display shows "IO", and the right display
shows "test". All displays will go blank and by pressing all switches, enables all
LED's and displays.
- Pressing the TEMP switch turns on the heating circuit.

- Press and hold the the SET switch to exit Special Program Mode.

Regular Programming

- Press and hold the FUNCTION button for two seconds "REG
PROGRAM" will show in the display, followed by "CODE".

- Using the product selection buttons, enter the code 1,2,3.


"SELECT PRODUCT" will scroll across the display.

- Press the Product button (1-0) that you would like to program.

- Press the FUNCTION button to advance through the


programming options.

-Press the appropriate numbers to make setting changes.

- Press the SCAN button while in Time Mode of the first inerval
to program subsequent intervals. "INT 2" will flash on the left
side of the display . Now follow the regular programming
procedure.
- To exit programming press and hold the FUNCTION button

Factory Preset

- Press and hold the FUNCTION button for two seconds until
"REG PROGRAM" show's in the display. As soon as "REG
PROGRAM" shows in the display, press and release the
Function button 3 times until "FAC PRESET" shows in the
display.

- When "CODE" shows in the display, use the product selection


buttons to enter 2,9,5,7.

- Press and release the "Function" button to advance


through the various programming options

- Use the appropriate product selection buttons to


make changes for the selected program item.

- To exit Factory Presets, press and hold


the "Function" button.
