Responsibilities ● The first thing is to determine is the list of devices that will be migrated and
how they should be organized and configured mostly and managed centrally.
● The devices should be organized into Device Groups and have the same or
similar security policy, should be put into the same Device Group. The policy
will be built up for the Device Group and pushed to all devices in that Device
Group.
● The final step in the Pre-Migration is to develop a test plan. The test plan is
critical to ensure that the devices are functioning with a pushed configuration
● Once the migration has been completed, the last step is to monitor the devices
for at least 24 hours to verify that they are still operating as expected.
Reviewing the traffic logs for any anomalies, such as sessions that are denied.
