I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content The learners demonstrate an understanding of:
Standards • the use of advanced tools and techniques found in common productivity and software applications in developing ICT content for specific professional tracks
B. Performance The learners shall be able to:
Standards • at the end of the 2-week period independently apply advanced productivity tools to create or develop ICT content for use in specific professional tracks
These may be in the form of, but not limited to:

III. PROCEDURES
A. Introduction Background of the Lesson/ Chapter
Microsoft PowerPoint is a presentation software that can create, modify, and present slides. Before computers were widely-used, a huge number of presenters used the old slide projectors
which required professional assistance in creating. A slide was made of clear plastic that was manually placed in the projector one by one.
Later on, the overhead projector (OHP) was invented which made it easier to prepare visual aids. OHPs simply required clear s heets of film which the presenter can write on either using a
computer printer or markers. However, these old methods of preparing slides consumed too much resources and errors on the slide would require the user to even discard the slide.
MS PowerPoint resolved this problem by allowing to create any number of slides. Errors can easily be corrected by editing the file. Other than texts and images. MS PowerPoint later on
introduced animations which made objects in the slide move, and slide transitions which decorated how slides would change from one to the next.
