SOFTWARE
OPERATING SYSTEM INSTALLATION (OS)
1. Turn off computer
2. Connect USB Installer to USB port and should be in 2.0
3. Turn off computer and press DELETE on keyboard
4. Setup Boot Priority 1 to USB Installer and Boot Priority 2 to HDD
5. Save and Exit
6. Setup installation and create partitions
7. When the computer restarts, press DELETE on keyboard
8. Setup Boot Priority 1 to HDD and Boot Priority 2 to USB Installer
9. Save and Exit
10. Wait until installation is done

REGEDIT
 Run RegEdit (WINDOW +R on keyboard and type RegEdit)
 HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT
 Press letter P & I on keyboard (Piffile)
 Rename “IsShortcut” to “wasshortcut”
 Enter

 Press letter L & N on keyboard (lnkfile)


 Rename “IsShortcut” to “wasshortcut”
 Enter

 HKEY_CURRENT_USER
 Control Panel
 Desktop
 Menu show delay
 Change value to 50 or 0
MSCONFIG
 Run msconfig (WINDOW +R on keyboard and type msconfig)
 Startup
 Uncheck all but USB security
 Apply
 Restart

 Go to control panel
 Action center
 Change action center

 Uncheck all
 Ok
WINDOWS UPDATE
 Go to control panel
 Action center
 Windows update
 Change settings
 Turn off updates

NETWORKING (offline)
 Right click on the Network icon
 Open network and sharing center
 Change adapter setting
 Right click on the local area connections
 Properties
 Internet protocol version 4
 Properties
 Use the following IP address
 192.168.x.x
 The two x means it’s your own choice of number to input
 For the last x it depends on the number of pc you want to connect
 Tab
 Ok

 Run CMD
 Ping each PC
 Ping other PCs
COMMON PROBLEMS IN NETWORKING
 Check Cables
 Check Connections
 Check Hub
 Check Bios setting
 Check if local area connection is disabled
 Lan port connection

SYSTEM RESTORATION
 Restart pc
 Press f8 on keyboard
 Safe mode
 Run msconfig
 Tools
 Click system restore

IF RUN COMMAND IS MISSING


 Go to my computer
 Local disk c
 Windows
 System 32
 Type “gpedit” on search bar at the top right of the window
 Double click “gpedit”
 User configuration
 Administrative templates
 Start menu and taskbar
 Look for “remove Run Menu from start menu” and double click
 Not configured
