This chapter analyzes data collected from 50 questionnaires completed by high school students, teachers, and parents in San Mateo, Isabela, Philippines. The purpose was to understand the effects of online classes. Tables 1-5 present respondent demographics of status, gender, age, address, and school. Table 6 analyzes responses regarding experiences with online versus in-person learning, challenges of switching to online, and effects on students. Most students reported online learning as sometimes or often working for daily basis, but preferred in-person classes, with the biggest difference being interaction and practical experience.

CHAPTER 4

PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA

For the researchers to complete this study properly,


it is necessary to analyze the data that had been
collected in order to test the answer of the research
questions that had been submitted by the respondents. As
already indicated in the preceding chapter, data is
interpreted in a descriptive form.
This chapter discusses the data analysis and findings
from 50 questionnaires completed by high school students,
teachers and parents in the area of San Mateo, Isabela.
The results are presented through the tables shown below.
The purpose of this study was to know the effects of
online class in high school students, teachers and
parents.
Table 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 present the profile of the
chosen 50 respondents. Table 1 covers if they we’re a
student, teacher or parent, Table 2 covers the gender,
Table 3 covers for age, Table 4 for address and Table 5
for the school they are attending. While Table 6 shows
the data analysis of the research.

The table above shows that in the range, the students
has participated most in this research with the 35% of
the 50 respondents. The next that has most participation
are parents, with 22%, and teachers that are only 8%.

Table 2 shows the frequency and percentage of the
respondents according to their gender. Thirty seven out
of 50 or 74% of the respondents were female likewise
there were 13 out of 50 or 26% of the respondents were
male. The table shows that the population of female
respondents that had participated in our survey is higher
than of males.

The Table 3 above shows the frequency and percentage
of the respondents according to their AGE.

The Table 5 above shows the frequency and percentage
of the respondents according to their schools that they
are attending.

Table 4.1 shows that Science is important in our daily
living because out of 50 respondents there are 27
respondents(54%) who answered always in the question “Is
Science is important in your daily lives?”

The table above shows that we can make our work easier
and faster with Science since Always has the highest
frequency which is 19 respondents and has a percentage of
38.

This table shows that 32 respondents(64%) answered
always for the given question. Therefore, Science
improves industrialization because most of their
responses are always and sometimes.

Table 4.4 shows that there are 22 respondents(44%) who
are always doing their assignments in Science when there
are some. Therefore most of the students are still doing
their Science assignments.

The table above shows that some of the problems in
Science are hard since there are 25 respondents(50%) or
half of the respondents answered sometimes in the
question “Do you encounter problems that are hard to
solve in Science?”.

The frequency and percentage in table 4.6 show that
most of the respondents were having an advance reading.
As can be seen from this table, since there are 27
respondents(54%) or more than half of the selected
students answered sometimes in the given question.

Based on the table shown above out of 50 respondents
there are only 16 respondents(32%) that are never letting
their seatmate copy their answers during quiz and exam
and the rest did. As a result, there are only a few who
do not let their seatmates copy their answers.

The table shown above shows that 20 respondents (40%) who
are oftentimes open their book in Science while some of them
are rarely using their books. Therefore, most of the
respondents are using their book in Science.

always do review for Science quiz and exams. Therefore, most

Table 4.10 shows that 23 respondents (46%) are
sometimes think of Science outside the school campus.
Therefore, some students are thinking of Science
sometimes outside the campus.

Table 4.11 shows that there are 24 respondents(48%)
who think that there are sometimes not good in Science.
Therefore most of the students doubt that they are not
good at Science.

there are 27 respondents(54%) who are sometimes good in
Science subjects. Therefore, almost half of the students
are still good at Science.

who are always encountering Science subjects weekly.
Therefore, most of all the students have more Science
subjects weekly.

Table 4.14 Shows that out of 50 respondents there are
47 respondents (94%) who are never do cutting classes
during their Science class, while there are some students
who do cutting classes. Therefore, most of all students
don’t do cutting class during their Science time.

anxiety in Science since there are 25 respondents (50%) who
answered sometimes in the given question.

for the given question. Therefore, teacher teach their Science

Table 4.17 shows that 23 respondents (46%) who are
always listen to their teacher while he or she discussing
his or her lesson in Science. Therefore, most of the
students are always listening to their Science teacher.

Table 4.18 shows that 18 respondents (36%) out of 50
respondents (100%) who are oftentimes got high grades in
Science subject. Therefore, most of the students are
oftentimes got high grades in Science.

Table 4.19 shows that 30 respondents (60%) out of 50
respondents (100%) who are always study when even Science
is so hard. Therefore, most of the student are still
studying Science well even Science subject is so hard.

out of 50 respondents (100%) who are never tried to sleep
during their Science class period, while there are few
students who sleep during their Science period.
Therefore, most of the students never tried to sleep
during their Science class period.

The table shown above shows that 29 respondents (58%)


out of 50 respondents (100%) who are never tried to sleep
during their Science class period, while there are few
students who sleep during their Science period.
Therefore, most of the students never tried to sleep
during their Science class period.
