Method

Step 01 (Engage) Duration


 Teacher shows day cards along with emojis and asks students to show the reaction of each emoji.
Teacher acts along with the students.
 Afterwards teacher shows her day card along with a picture ( an activity ) that she
does on that particular day and questions the students. 15 mins

Step 02 (Explore)
 Students gets the chance to show their day cards along with the pictures and talk about what they do
on that particular day.

Step 03 (Explain)

 Teacher shows her 2 favorite days and activities in 2 sentences. 10 mins


 Afterwards, the students do the workbook activity – page number 36 ( Part B ). They
write sentences only for 2 of their favourite days.

Step 04 (Elaborate)
 Students paste the pictures of the activities next to the day cards in their
comprehension writing book. 10 mins

Step 05 (Evaluate)

10 mins
 Teacher asks the daily routine of 2 students and display them.
 Students write sentences about their daily routine in their comprehension writing book.
 Teacher asks students to read what they wrote in their writing book.
