Do you think Filipino Values can also help in uplifting the poor condition of the
majority of the Filipinos?

I believe that Filipino Values can uplift the poor condition of the majority
of the Filipinos.

Poverty is the most serious affliction that the majority of Filipinos face.
According to Philippine Statistics Authority (2020), In 2018, Philippines had an
estimated at 16.7 percent of poor Filipinos whose per capital/income is
insufficient to meet their basic food and non-food needs. This translates to about
17.7 million Filipinos living in poverty in 2018.

The family is the most fundamental and significant unit in a Filipino's life.
Unlike in Western countries, young Filipinos are not expected to leave their
parents' home when they turn 18. When a Filipino's parents become frail and
unable to care for themselves, they are cared for in their children's homes and
rarely taken to Homes for the Aged by their children. Moreover, throughout the
time the whole family is together, Filipino parents teach their children to be
hospitable and helpful to each other. These Filipino values are passed down
from generation to generation.

Around 100,000 poor households, or half a million people, from all over
Metro Manila, including people with disabilities in Caloocan City, received food
packs on April 30. Wide private sector and philanthropic partners including the
Philippine Disaster Relief Foundation and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce
and Industry helped to extend distribution to at least 40,000 additional
households (Asian Development Bank, 2020). This is one of the examples where
Filipinos work together especially in times of need. If Filipinos will continue this
values, it would be a great help to uplift the poor condition here in the
Philippines.
