One of the Department of Education’s trusts is the K to 12 Basic Education Program
that would cater a life-long learning for our pupils. In line with this, the INSET, as anchored
on the Division Memorandum Order No. 416, s. 2020 will be a manifesto to aid teachers
toward improving their mental, social, physical and ethics while working despite the
pandemic. Considering that teachers being the front liners must be equipped with the
necessary tool to manage and execute a meaningful learning process. Continuous professional
development keep teacher abreast on new research and how children learn, emerging
technology tools in the classroom and new technology resources.
Since the pupils are our main clientele, teachers must be connected to and derived
from working with pupils and understanding their behavior. Aside from teacher’s
development, one reason this training will be conducted is for the pupils ‘welfare and
protection. This training is also anchored on the DepEd’s Core Values Maka-Diyos, Maka-
tao, Makakalikasan and Makabansa which links to most of the topics to be discussed in the
duration of the training.
The semestral break will commence on December 14-18, 2020 highlights Deped
Order No. 25, s. 2017 which clearly stipulates that teachers must undergo an in-service
training (INSET) in schools or in clusters. All teachers across the regions are enjoin to
observe regular days during the conduct of the professional development. Thus, Lower
Tungawan Elementary School will be conducting and fostering our professional growth and
development for five days in school. The INSET will further enhance the growth and
development of the teachers in our school, tackle issues align with the curriculum and further
enhance skills necessary to sustain the continuum of the teaching and learning processes in
times of world threat such as the pandemic. This 5-day in-service training aims furthermore
to aptly apply knowledge in teaching to a more meaningful and comprehensive outcome.
Provide them with a combination or blended type of reinforcement basically that suits their
needs.

Ma’am:
Greetings!
Lower Tungawan Elementary School believes that the role of a teachers in schools as
it is inevitably one of the most crucial variable in affecting the student learning; both
quantifiable and qualitative development of a child. It is high time, that the teaching
personnel to revisit, review, orient and train fellow teaching personnel on the current trends
in the type of educational system he has today and to effectively implement the aforesaid
role.
