I am looking for a career and I believe this role will provide me with a
fantastic start in a career in the diplomatic sector. As you will see from my
CV I have all of the requirements for the post and more, alongside the
experience required to fulfil the role. My Khmer is excellent as I am a
natural born Cambodian. My English is very good, and I am continually
improving by spending time with colleagues, customers, friends and others
who use English as their first language.
I provide the perfect customer experience – I make people feel at ease with
my pleasant manner, I bring out the most information from people with
my listening and questioning skills (essential in health care) and I do this in
a professional and dignified manner that is befitting to the specialized
areas I am practicing in.
In my current role I am usually the first one and a lot of the time the last to
leave. I do this to make sure the job is done because the job is people and
if I am as efficient as I can be then there is no additional waiting around
and the customer leaves happy. A lot of the time this goes unnoticed
because it means my service area is doing its job exactly how it should and
most of the time very good work does not stand out.
Complaints stand out. Which is why I do my very best to ensure that the
customer has the best experience and leaves happy – or at least leaves
knowing they have received what they came for. I jump on issues as quickly
as possible to avoid them becoming bigger problems. Most of the time
these small fires can be easily put out but sometimes I need to ask
colleagues/managers for advice or to jump in if needed. As I love working
with my colleagues this is no issue as we all support each other.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to an interview to provide
further evidence of my skills and hopefully after that becoming a colleague.
Kind regards
Bunhan Sovannary
