Impact of Internet

Nowadays, there is no doubt that internet has made our life become more easier and more convenient. We
can use internet to communicate with people around the world, doing business by using internet,
studying, searching information, etc. The more advantages the internet has, the more unwanted bad
effects it has too.

Todays, we can't deny that everyone has mobile phone of each own. We can access internet through our
devices .Firstly, using mobile phone for a long time may affect our eyesight .If students spend too much
time using internet without concerning about their lessons, they will have less time for their study .They
are likely to neglect their studies .In addition, there are too many websites that are not suitable for
children to see. Secondly, the biggest bad effect of internet is the ‘Internet Addiction’. It is a world-wide
problem among the youth .The young are addicted to the internet since they do not control the amount of
time they spend on it. They begin to neglect their occupational duties or their relationships with family
and friends although it is also true that the Internet has made the communication easier and more
convenient. The next negative impact is “ Cyber bullying ”. Cyber bullying is bullying that occurs online
through the internet. The Internet often makes it easier for people to say hurtful things. As a result, many
of the kids imitate and become participate in cyber bullying even though they don’t consider themselves
bullies. They regard it as a trend.

To sum up, the internet is slowly becoming the most used source of media. It is a wonderful invention
which makes life more enjoyable. Although it has many advantages, I think the bad points far outweigh
the good points. So as long as you are sensible, the positive and negative impacts of the Internet can
change.
