Registration in the Engineering Council (ECSL) as an “Incorporated Engineer” has to be authorized by IIESL in terms of
section 15 (3) of Engineering Council, Sri Lanka Act No. 4 of 2017 of the Parliament of Democratic Socialist Republic of

(ii) I hereby give my consent to IIESL to share a part or whole of the information furnished by me in the
above set of documents, with the ECSL.
(iii) I am aware that the fees paid by me in respect of this registration are not refundable under any
circumstance unless otherwise decided by the ECSL and IIESL.
(iv) I hereby agree to inform future changes of my particulars furnished in this set of documents, such
as contact telephone numbers, address/es to the IIESL and to the ECSL through IIESL within a
period of seven (7) days subsequent to occurrence of such change/s.
(v) I am aware that the effectiveness of my registration (if registered) as an Incorporated Engineer in
the ECSL is valid for a certain period as decided by the ECSL and my registration will be not valid
thereafter unless it is renewed by the ECSL.
(vi) I confirm that in the event of acceptance of my registration as an Incorporated Engineer in ECSL, I
will discharge my professional duties with diligence and honestly, while complying Bye Laws and
Code of Ethics prescribed by the IIESL, Code of Professional Conduct for the Engineering
Practitioners prepared by the ECSL.
(vii) I shall indemnify and hold harmless the IIESL and the ECSL for all adverse effects caused due to my
acts as an Incorporated Engineer or otherwise at any time.
(viii) I affirm that all the particulars furnished above by me are true and accurate to the best of my
knowledge. In case, the above information furnished by me is found to be false or untrue or
misleading or misinterpreting, I am aware that I shall personally be held liable for it.
(ix) I shall accept as final and binding, any decisions in respect of my registration taken by the ECSL.
