Introduction
The Identity Management tool provides a one stop self-service portal to manage IT Access.

Navigate to https://idm.wns.com to access and modify your IT Profile.

This portal can be used to: -

1. Manage Profile Picture

2. Manage access to Distribution groups
3. Reset Password.

Manage Profile Picture

Click on the link “Edit my Profile” and follow the steps depicted in the screen grabs to change your
display picture.

Email Distribution Groups

This section of the portal allows you to see your current memberships with email distribution group and
also allows you to manage memberships. The three available links and its use are as mentioned below: -

1. See my DG memberships – Use this link to see your existing memberships to email distribution
groups.
2. Manage my DGs – Use this link to manage (add or remove members) the email distribution
groups that you own.
3. Join a DG - Use this link to send out a request to join the group.

To Manage the Email Distribution Group that you are the owner of, perform the following steps.

1 Log on to the portal i.e. https://idm.wns.com

2 Under Distribution Groups (DGs), click Manage my DGs.

3 Select the check box next to the name of the group that you want to manage, and then do one of
the following:
4 To remove a group member, click Remove Member, select the box next to the name of the group
member that you want to remove, and then click Next.
5 To add a group member, click Add Member, enter the name in the Members box, click Validate
and resolve (or click Browse to search for a user), and then click Next.
6 In the next page, review the summary information, and then click Submit.

Register for Password Reset

Registering for password reset allows a user to reset password by answering secret questions. The
answers to the secret questions are recorded at the time of registration. The following screen grabs
depict the step required to register for password reset.

Password Reset
Password resets can be carried out in two ways: -

1. Web Portal { https://passwordreset.wns.com }

2. Windows Logon Screen

Password Reset Using the Portal

Below are the steps for password reset using the web portal.

Logon to http://resetpassword.wns.com and enter the username as depicted in the screenshot.

Submit the answers to the secret questions. Do note that the answers are case sensitive.

On providing the correct answers, you will be provided an option to reset your password. Please type in
the new password.

Note: - The password should meet complexity requirements and you cannot use the last 10 passwords
that were used earlier.

Manage Requests
All request that you’ve raised or that have been submitted to you for approval are managed using the
section on the home page highlighted in the screen grab.
