    Hydraulic Workover Division
    Brief History
    • P.T. Lekom Maras was founded in 1975 by Mr. B. Bur Maras who still
    serves as the company as President Director.

    • The Hydraulic Work Over Division was started in the year 1997, It is one of
    four divisions that make up P.T. Lekom Maras Oil and Gas Services
    The others are NDT (Non Destructive Test), Tubular, and CED (Cosultant
    Engineering Division)

    • Although it is an internationally oriented company, Lekom Maras focuses its


    efforts on Indonesia, the largest and one of the most dynamic countries in
    the fast growing Asia Pacific.
    Equipment
    Hydraulic Longstroke Unit 142k
    • It can be mounted on a skid trailer, straight-up directly onto the well head or a base to take part of the load off of
    the wellhead

    • 48 feet long Mast with an 18 foot stroke Hydraulic cylinder mounted inside the mast. When the 18 foot hydraulic
    strokes, it pulls against a 1-3/8” OD steel cable, compounded by a series of sheaves producing a 36 foot stroke. In
    simple terms one stroke pulls one joint of pipe whereas the standard 10 foot stroke hydraulic workover rigs that
    are mostly used today require 3 to 4 strokes per joint are required to pull one joint of pipe

    • The maximum pull on the mast and 18 foot hydraulic cylinder is a 142,000 Lbs, but when using our Hydraulic Rig
    Assist Window (Super Jack) we can supply a 300,000 Lbs, of pull with a five foot stroke

    • The rig has a 10,000 Ft lb gear driven rotary and unlike most hydraulic rigs hydraulic rigs the drive section of the
    rotary has roller bearings mounted on the top and the bottom of all drive and idler gears. None of the 10,000 Ft
    Lbs of torque is wasted on binding of gears, sprockets or chains

    • The hydraulic power is supplied by a 8V92T Detroit Diesel Power Pack with a working pressure of 3000 Psi

    • Mounted on top of the mast is a 10 ft gin pole with 2 each 3/8” aircraft quality cables run thru sheaves and back to
    two each hydraulic winches mounted on the back of the rig base. This system is called a counter balance and is
    used to pick-up or lay down tubing or Drill String. The controls for this are mounted in the work basket
