 Y Learned about PLC and it basic function of working.
2 Y basic about something about the ladder diagram of PLC, NC & NO COIL
We had a session of PLC, which included basic things.

3 Y Got some information about older version of CNC with punched tapes used in the
m/c. The information was used block by block from the tapes.
4 Y In CNC we call PLC as PMC & in older days PMC was called PC(programmable
controller .
5 Y Seen linear guideway, non-linear guideway, ballscrew & combination of x.z &
x2,z2 axis.
6 Y Did calculations with the ballscrew pitch, pulses per revolution(ppr & gear ratio.
7 Y Came to know about the Artificial intelligence of Robocut, Roboshot &
Robodrill.
8 Y  ^-Came to know about the tool monitor feature in Robodrill in
which the spindle speed decrease for hard workpiece & spindle speed increases
for soft workpiece.
9 Y c The copper wire used in Robocut for cutting the job can have
diameter of 0.05-0.3mm. The workpiece is cut in the deionised water which acts
as a dielectric medium.
0 YAdvantages of Robocut are- consistency, low production & maintenance cost &
energy saving servo drives.
 YDifferent series of Robocut are alpha-0iE & alpha-iE. Sales offices for Robocut
are at Bangalore, Delhi & Pune. There are more than 85 Robocuts in India.
 c FANUC is pioneer to introduce electric(CNC injection moulding
machine(IMM used to mfg. petridish, connectors, camera parts, gears for watches,
amplifier panels, fan cover, automotive industry etc..
2 Its advantages are^- AI mould protection, ejector protection, energy saving,
productivity & consistency.
3 Some models of Roboshot are S-2000i5A, S-2000i5B, S-2000i30B. There are
more than 345 Roboshots in India. Sales offices for Roboshot are at Bangalore, Delhi
& Pune.
4   It includes Installation & Comissioning, Warranty service, Field
service, Telephone support, Repairs, FOC. Instruments need to be carried during
service visit are oscilloscope, digital multimeter, megger, power analyzer & milliohm
meter
5 Came to know about the parts of lathe m/c like headstock, tailstock,
bed,chuck,carriage, feedrod
