What is sap pp?

Sap pp is the process of aligning forecasting and customer demand with manufacturing facility
to create production and procurement schedules for finished products and components.

Sap order to cash cycle?

In sap we have 3 types of data:

1) Master data.

2) Transaction data.

3) Customizing data

Master data
In sap pp we have mainly 5 types of master data.
1. Material Master
2. BOM
3. Work Center
4. Routing
5. Production Version.

1. Material Master
The material master in SAP used by different areas of the company. It is not only
used by pp, but the same material master record is used by other departments
(SD,MM,FICO…

In material master we have different views like basic data, MRP, costing all data
that can be stored in the material master.

To create material master is :MM01

TO change/ Display is: MM02/ MM03
