The submission is in the form of an individual written report. This should be written in a concise, formal
business style using single spacing and font size 12. You are required to make use of headings,
paragraphs and subsections as appropriate, and all work must be supported with research and
referenced using the Harvard referencing system. Please also provide a bibliography using the Harvard
referencing system. The recommended word limit is 2,000–2,500 words, although you will not be
penalised for exceeding the total word limit.
Unit Learning Outcomes:
LO3 Analyse internal and external factors that affect Human Resource Management decision-making,
including employment legislation.
Your report will be divided into two parts. Part one is the continuation of your assignment one in which
you are required to conduct a HR case study review for Naman Resorts Vietnam. In part two you will be
asked to take part in testing the new recruitment and selection process.
In Part 2 you will design a job specification for a particular job role and then you will take part in an
interview simulation for a job role you have selected.
Your aim is to test the recruitment and selection process and complete an individual document portfolio
to submit. The document portfolio should include:
1. The design of a job specification for one of a number of given positions in the organisation.
2. A CV tailored to apply for one of the positions that you have selected.
3. Documentation of preparatory notes for interviews, interview notes based on selection criteria and a
justified decision of the candidate selected.
4. A job offer to the selected candidate.
5. An evaluation of the process and the rationale for conducting appropriate HR practices.
