1. How do Media Literacy, Information Literacy, and Technology Literacy and Media and Information
Literacy differ in terms of use?
Media Literacy is used to apply the abilities to access, analyze, evaluate, and create media in a
variety of forms. While, Information Literacy is used to recognize when information is needed,
and to locate, evaluate, and effectively communicate information in its various formats. A
Technology Literacy is used to access, manage, integrate, evaluate, create and communicate
information. Lastly, Media and Information Literacy are used to engage with media and other
information providers effectively, as well as develop critical thinking and life-long learning skills
to socialize and become active citizens.

2. Are they similar in form? Elaborate


Yes, Media Literacy, Information Literacy, and Technology Literacy and Media and Information
Literacy had similar forms because these different literacies have all contain the corresponding
variety of forms.

3. Are they similar in use? Elaborate


Yes, Media Literacy, Information Literacy, and Technology Literacy and Media and Information
Literacy had similarly used because an individual can have the ability to identify, understand,
interpret, create, communicate and compute, using printed and written materials associated with
varying contexts such as utilizing mass communication through learning, wherein they can
achieve their goals, develop their knowledge and potential, and participate fully in their
community and wider society.

4. What do you think are the problems with Media and Information Literacy today?
The problems of Media Literacy as of now are using social media for cyberbullying and watching
sexual content. Since we are currently live in the 21st century, it is hard to find out what is the
truth and reliable references in the online community.

5. As a student, do you think Literacy affects Media?


As a student, I think that Literacy affects Media because Literacy includes a continuum of learning,
wherein individuals can accomplish their goals, improve their understanding and potential which
means that Media was being affected by Literacy. After all, it is used to communicate through
messages and physical objects such as radio, television, computers, film, etc.
