1. How do Media Literacy, Information Literacy, and Technology Literacy and Media and Information
Literacy differ in terms of use?
Media Literacy is used to apply the abilities to access, analyze, evaluate, and create media in a
variety of forms. While, Information Literacy is used to recognize when information is needed,
and to locate, evaluate, and effectively communicate information in its various formats. A
Technology Literacy is used to access, manage, integrate, evaluate, create and communicate
information. Lastly, Media and Information Literacy are used to engage with media and other
information providers effectively, as well as develop critical thinking and life-long learning skills
to socialize and become active citizens.
4. What do you think are the problems with Media and Information Literacy today?
The problems of Media Literacy as of now are using social media for cyberbullying and watching
sexual content. Since we are currently live in the 21st century, it is hard to find out what is the
truth and reliable references in the online community.
