Problem Statement

A university is organized in different teaching schools and each school conducts a variety of
courses. Knowledge among the students is being shared through various resources. Student
search for various kinds of question paper and e-books all across the web of various semesters,
courses and universities hence an easy system which can be installed and filled with data to share
knowledge in a dynamic way is required.
The management should be empowered with tools to manage the training and placement records
of various students. Where details of all the students shall be registered and managed for
recruitment processes.

University decides to automate the manual registration process in order to improve the existing
system. The proposed system should perform the following functions
 Issue of login Id and password to the members i.e. student and faculty.
 Maintain the personal details of the students.
 List of registered students
 List of papers offered in a particular semester for a particular course.
 E-books of particular subject
 Manage training and placement cell (Online)

Training and Placement Cell in any college plays a vital role and is becoming a key department
of the institute. As there are large numbers of Engineering and Management colleges coming up,
the competition for employment is increasing every day and the job of placement is becoming a
challenging one. A full pledged placement cell is functioning in our college with a full time
placement officer. Our Training and Placement Office is performing the following activities:-

Training and Placement Cell is an integral part of the institute. The institute has provided
complete infrastructure for effective functioning of the cell. Training activities are organized
throughout the year in an effort towards preparing the prospective students for the campus
selection programmes. The cell keeps on invites various industries and reputed firms for campus
recruitment. The cell is sensitized to function all through the year towards generating placement
and training opportunities for the students.

Reputed industrial houses across the country visit our institute regularly for the campus
recruitment programs. The placement cell coordinates quite well with the corporate sector and
provides well-developed infrastructure to facilitate the campus selection programmes. The cell
maintains a very cordial relationship with all the recruiting industries and also prepares the
recruited candidates to face the competitive world.

College students will be able to register on the website with the college roll number valid email
id and a registration code for placement. They will then need to create their profile which will be
visible to all the registered user and company.
 Online Placement Cell

Training and Placement Cell in any college plays a vital role and is becoming a key department

For placement a large number of prospective employers are contacted during the year and efforts
are made to invite those companies to visit our college and to conduct campus recruitments. The
objective of the T&P Cell is to look for a 100% employment of all the students. The Cell is
assisted by student placement coordinators who lead a team of placement representatives from
various courses of study. The Training & placement Cell ensures and takes care to provide the
best arrangements and hospitality for the visiting company’s officials.

The Training & Placement Cell provides all audio visual facilities for PowerPoint
Presentations, written test, group discussion and interviews. It plays a very important and key
role in counseling and guiding the students of the University for their Successful Career
Placement which is a crucial interface between the stages of completion of academic program of
the students and their entry into the suitable employment... The computerization of the entire
activities of the placement Cell is in progress and this facility will be available to the

The Training & placement Cell is committed to provide all possible assistance to its graduates in
their efforts to find employment. This commitment is demonstrated by the existence of a full
time professor in charge. The benefit of this assistance is reflected in the preparation of students
who are able to secure lucrative and esteemed positions in recent years. The Training &
Placement service operates year round to facilitate contacts between companies and graduates.
Staffs are available to respond to student's question and concern of all kinds. This may include
advice on placement procedures help with preparation of applications and resumes and practice
for interviews. The aim is to ensure that students have the information and skills necessary for an
effective job search. Those considering careers in education or in related fields are offered
detailed career guidance at the Training & Placement Cell. All advice is based on up-to-date
placement statistics and an envisioned view of future and educational and industrial trends.
Every efforts is undertaken to create opportunities for our students to get placements. We hope to
reach maximum placements level in the years to come.

FINAL PLACEMENT
Campus recruitment drives are undertaken by inviting companies from the private. Public and
government sectors to place Institute's students at entry level managerial positions. Placement
assistance is provided industry sector-wise as well as by functional area wise. For this purpose,
the institute has an active placement cell which keeps continuous interaction with industry,
business houses, multinationals and the public sector undertaking with a view to provide
appropriate and timely career opportunities to its students.
