Guide Questions:

1. How do you describe your scores on Mini IPIP Scale? Do you think the results are accurate?
Why?

2. Do you think personality changes through time? How?

3. Discuss how we develop our personality.

4. Differentiate personality from self.

5. How will you answer the question, “Who am I?”?

The result of my scores on Mini IPIP Scale is 15 on Openness which is high, 15 on

Conscientiousness which is high, 14 on Extraversion which is high, 18 on Agreeableness which
is very high, 14 on Neuroticism which is high, I think the results of my score is accurate to me
because I’m true to myself and what was the result of my answer is really what I am.

I think personality changes through time like my experience, Openness is one of my personality,
I’m kind of person that want to try new things and open-minded not like before when I was a kid
that the only thing that I know is to play with my friends and didn’t open up much to my parents.
I’m conscientious person like I’m a hardworking person especially in school works, I don’t want
to be filled up not like before I didn’t care if I have task to do, I am Extrovert kind of person that
talk a lot, friendly, and feeling close sometimes, in that way I can show people how positive I am
in life unlike before when I was in high school, my outlook on life was different to the point that
I became negative person because I thought that they might not be my true friend. I’m agreeable
person which is if my friend has a problem it also my problem, I am kind of person that someone
have a problem and need someone to talk to, I will help them immediately, I am one call away
friend unlike before I didn’t care to feelings of others. Neuroticism personality that I have is I am
moody person especially when I have a lot of school works and at the same time the due date of
when to pass it, I’m getting stress with to the point that I don’t what to do unlike before when I
was a young I didn’t what the purpose of life and I don’t have any problem.

In my own opinion we develop our personality in the way that we get older and mature enough,
we develop our self-esteem in the way we learn to understand, accept, and appreciate oneself as
unique person.

The self is the essence of a person which is our thoughts, feelings, and actions, experiences,
beliefs, values, principles, and relationship, Self is includes a person’s life purpose, meaning, and
aspirations while the personality is the essence of who we are and embodiment of one’s physical,
affective and spiritual self.

I am hardworking person especially when it comes to school, I don’t waste my time to the things
that is not important. I am one call away friend when you need someone to talk; I’m here always
here to help you. I am family oriented, I love my family there are my strength and also my
inspiration in life, I am extrovert kind of person because I have a lot of friends and I’m so
talkative. My name is Trishia D. Grumal, and this is me always be me. If you don’t want my
story or me, it’s totally fine. I don’t want to please everybody to love me or like me.
