Details
Applications for MSU study Abroad Scholarships are open now. The
Michigan state University is offering numerous scholarships for
international students. Students from all around the world are
encouraged to apply. The applications are open for batch 2022.
International students aiming for undergraduate and postgraduate
degree can apply for any of the MSU scholarships. This is a great chance
to study in United states. Most of the scholarships are fully funded, this
means all your expenses will be covered by the host university.
Students will be selected on the basis of their academic record. Do not

Eligibility criteria

Benefits
Global Ambassador Grant
The scholarships are awarded to a few academically brilliant and
excellent individuals. The grant value is US$7,000 per year(for all 8
semesters)
Red Cedar Scholarship
The scholarship is awarded to MSU alumni’s dependents or grandkids
which provides US$1,250 each year and is renewable each semester
(for all eight semesters)
Honours Distinction Scholarship
The Non-resident Honours College invites U.S. citizens or permanent
residents, nationals of Canada or Mexico offering US$5,000 each
semester for a total of eight semesters.

Honours College Excellence Scholarship


The scholarship is awarded to a selected number of Honours
College invitees who are not Michigan residents or international
students. Only the US citizens who are not a student of Michigan
university can avail this scholarship. Over the course of eight semesters,
the Excellence Scholarship awards $13,000 per annum and it is suitable
for Michigan state tuition costs.

Professorial Assistantship
A limited number of international and home-schooling Honors College
invitees are selected after a thorough examination of their academic
achievements. Domestic students are also eligible for this scholarship,
but only if they have secured a GPA that ranks them in the top 5% of
their institutions’ applications to MSU. Professorial Assistants are paid a
stipend of about US$3,500 annually for working 8-10 hours per week
on faculty-mentored research or scholarly activity, which is renewable
for four semesters
Presidential Study Abroad Scholarship
This grant is awarded for use an MSU-sponsored or co-sponsored study
abroad program to international students outside of the United States.
The award value is US$3,000 up to US$5,000 depending on program
duration. The award must be used during the first eight semesters of an
undergraduate degree at MSU or before the undergraduate degree is
completed.
YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship
This undergraduate scholarship is given to a selected group
of international undergraduate students who show dedication to
spreading the #YouAreWelcomeHere message by overcoming
intercultural differences. It pays US$25,000 in tuition each year and can
be renewed each semester, for eight semesters. #YouAreWelcomeHere
Scholarship requires a separate application form. The International
Tuition Grant cannot be used in conjunction with this award.

International Tuition Grant


This scholarship is awarded to incoming students with non-U.S.
residency status applying from outside the country. This merit
scholarship in USA is based on academic performance, extracurricular
activity, an essay, and regional diversity. The Grants range from
US$15,000 to US$25,000 per semester for a total of eight semesters.
Students who apply to MSU study abroad scholarships by December 1
will receive priority consideration. Students who apply after December
1 may be eligible if funding is still available. And, U.S.
citizens, permanent residents, and transfer students are not eligible for
this grant.

How to apply?
To apply for Michigan State University International student
scholarships 2022, applicants must first apply for regular admission in
the university. Most of the scholarships consider the students
automatically for the scholarship. Eligible students will automatically be
considered for the scholarship.
