GE4 Title Proposal Format

This research proposal examines the relationship between the independent variable and dependent variable. The independent variable has two indicators: indicator 1 and indicator 2. The dependent variable also has two indicators: indicator 1 and indicator 2. The study aims to determine if there are significant differences and relationships between the variables. A quantitative correlational design will be used with a sample of participants. Data will be collected through surveys and analyzed using statistical tools like t-tests and correlation to test the two hypotheses that there are no significant differences or relationships between the variables.

INTRODUCTION

Introduce the context of your study. At least three sentences and no citation

needed.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

----------------------------------------------------.

What is your reason or motivation to conduct the research? Describe that

problem or situation that made you decide to choose this specific research topic. It

can be a personal reason you have read or observed somewhere. The same as the

rationale of the study. Citation here is optional.

Look for several research/reading articles that show the same concerns and

ideas of your research topic. It should reveal that there is a “gap” or problem. This is

the same as the review of related literature. At least two (2) paragraphs with

citation.

Supporting paragraph 2.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------

Discuss research about the indicators used in the DEPENDENT VARIABLE.

Include at least one (1) citation per indicator.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

----------------------------------------------------

Discuss research about the indicators used in the INDEPENDENT

VARIABLE. Include at least one (1) citation per indicator.

Conceptual Framework

Statement of the Problem

1. What is the level of INDEPENDENT VARIABLE in terms of:

1.1. indicator 1; and

1.2. indicator 2? (at least 2 indicators)

2. What is the level of DEPENDENT VARIABLE in terms of:

2.1. indicator 1; and

2.2. indicator 2? (at least 2 indicators)

3. Is there a significant difference between the DEPENDENT VARIABLE and

INDEPENDENT VARIABLE?

4. Is there a significant relationship between the DEPENDENT VARIABLE

and INDEPENDENT VARIABLE?

Hypotheses of the Study

2
The following are the research hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance.

HO1: There is no significant difference between the DEPENDENT VARIABLE

and INDEPENDENT VARIABLE.

HO2: There is no significant relationship between the DEPENDENT

VARIABLE and INDEPENDENT VARIABLE.

METHODS

Provide a little background of this section. What is your research design

(qualitative or quantitative)? For quantitative, explain whether it is correlational,

exploratory, SEM, quasi-experimental, etc.

Who were your participants (e.g., age, gender, etc./Demographics)? What

was your sample size? What type of sampling technique did you use? Where were

you going to conduct the study (setting of the study)?

How did you collect the data (observation, surveying, interview, secondary

source)? What instruments did you use (e.g., survey questionnaire, pre/post-test)?

How did you analyze the data? What statistical tools did you use (e.g., mean,

median, mode, standard deviation, t-test, F-test, correlation/regression)? Explain

each tool used.

Procedures

Give a brief overview of your procedures.
