1st quarter - Week 1

I. Objectives: At the end of the lesson 80% of the students will be able to;
a. Determine similarities and differences in every individual,
b. Differentiate one similarities and differences to the other, and
c. Appreciate one similarities and differences to the other.

II. Subject Matter:


Topic: Lesson 1: Appreciating Similarities and Differences
Materials: Books, Laptop, Board, and chalk.
Strategies: Inquiry approach, discussion method, activity method
Reference: DAZZLE 2, pages 232 - 236

III. Learning Experiences:


a. Preparation: The students will arrange their seats properly and pick up pieces of
paper and cellophane.
 One student will lead the prayer.
b. Motivation: The students will do the activity in the book page 232.

c. Discussion:
 The teacher will ask some volunteers in the class to stand up (3 students).
 The students will spot the similarities and differences of their classmate.
 The teacher will discuss the similarities and differences in every individual with aid of
pictures.
 The teacher will ask question to the students;
o Why do we need to appreciate or accept one similarities and differences?
 Teacher will ask some volunteers from the students.
 The teacher will add more information on why do we need to appreciate or accept one
similarities and differences.

IV. Evaluation:
 The students will answer the questions in the book (lets apply) pages 235 and 236.
 The teacher will give coloring pad to the students that show one similarities and
differences.

V. Generalization:

 Some students will Share in the class what they learn.

b. Described differently- abled and mentally- challenged person,
c. List the things they can do for differently and mentally- challenged person.

II. Subject Matter:


Topic: Lesson 2: Understand the Differently- abled and Mentally – challenge.
Materials: Books, Laptop, Board, and chalk.
Strategies: Inquiry approach, discussion method, activity method
Reference: DAZZLE 2, pages 237 – 239

III. Learning Experiences:


a. Preparation: The students will arrange their seats properly and pick up pieces of
paper and cellophane.
 One student will lead the prayer.
b. Motivation: The teacher will show a picture to his students about differently- abled and mentally-
challenged person.
 The teacher will ask some students about their opinion in the picture presented.

c. Discussion:
 The teacher will let his student choose in the picture presented which is the
differently abled and mentally- challenged.
 The teacher will discuss the differently abled and mentally- challenged person.
 The students will choose a partner and they’re going list the good things they can
do about the differently- abled and mentally- challenged person.
 Some students will share their output in the class.
 The teacher will discuss the things they can do about the said persons.

IV. Evaluation:
 The students will answer the questions in the book (lets apply) page 239.

V. Generalization:

 Some students will Share in the class what they learn.

c. Recognize what to do when someone feel bad.

II. Subject Matter:


Topic: Lesson 3: Healthy Expression of Feelings.
Materials: Books, Laptop, Board, and chalk.
Strategies: Inquiry approach, discussion method, activity method
Reference: DAZZLE 2, pages 241 – 243

III. Learning Experiences:


a. Preparation: The students will arrange their seats properly and pick up pieces of
paper and cellophane.
 One student will lead the prayer.
b. Motivation: The teacher will show pictures about different expression of individual and the
students will say what expression it is.
c. Discussion:
 The teacher will discuss each feeling of individual with aid of pictures.
 The teacher will show video that shows different feelings of individual.
 The teacher will ask questions to the students;
o Do we need to accept the individual feelings?
o Why do we need to accept one feelings and individual?
 The teacher will add more information on why do we need to accept one feelings.
 The teacher will show video about an angry person.
 The teacher will ask some volunteers to give their opinion about the video.
 The teacher will discuss on what to do when someone feels bad.

IV. Evaluation:
 The students will answer the questions in the book (lets apply) page 243.
 The students will be given an activity about the different feelings of individual.

V. Generalization:

b. Determine DO’s and DON’T’s in respecting the feelings of others.

II. Subject Matter:


Topic: Lesson 4: Respecting the Feelings of Others.
Materials: Books, Laptop, Board, and chalk.
Strategies: Inquiry approach, discussion method, activity method
Reference: DAZZLE 2, pages 244 – 246.

III. Learning Experiences:


a. Preparation: The students will arrange their seats properly and pick up pieces of
paper and cellophane.
 One student will lead the prayer.
b. Motivation: The students will do the activity in the book page 244.
c. Discussion:
 The teacher will show a video in the class.
 The students will give their opinion about the video.
 The teacher will ask questions;
o Are you respecting the feelings of others?
o Are you respecting the feelings of your classmate?
 The teacher will discuss what respect is.
 The teacher will discuss why do we need to respect the feelings of others.
 The teacher will discuss the DO’s and DON’T’s in respecting the feelings of
others.

IV. Evaluation:
 The students will answer the questions in the book (lets apply) page 246.

V. Generalization:

 Some students will Share in the class what they learn.


 The teachers will explain to the students that “respecting the feelings of others makes
happy relationships”.

Project in Health 2
 The students will pass a different expression of individual.
 The students will put it in a short bond paper, and be put to a folder.
 The students can draw or print the different expressions.
 The students will pass the project before the final exam of health 2.
 Rubrics will be given and explain to the students where the grades will be base.

Topic: Lesson 5: Germs and Illnesses
Materials: Books, Laptop, Board, and chalk.
Strategies: Inquiry approach, discussion method, activity method
Reference: DAZZLE 2, pages 247 – 251.

III. Learning Experiences:


a. Preparation: The students will arrange their seats properly and pick up pieces of
paper and cellophane.
 One student will lead the prayer.
b. Motivation: The students will do the activity in the book page 247.
c. Discussion:
 The teacher will show a video about germs.
 The teacher will elaborate more about germs.
 The will show pictures to the students and let them guess what illnesses it is.
 The teacher will discuss each common illness of children.
 The teacher will discuss what to do to avoid those illnesses.
 The teacher will show video to elaborate more how to avoid each common
illnesses.
 The teacher will add more the importance of avoiding the common illnesses of
children.

IV. Evaluation:
 The students will answer the questions in the book (lets apply) page 251.

V. Generalization:

 Some students will Share in the class what they learn.
