 Creating Project, WBS and Activities in P6


 Creating Activity Relationships
 Scheduling project and generating schedule log report

1. Create a new EPS Node having under “All initiatives”:


 EPS Code: Five letters as EC_ _ _ (Last 3 digits of your Enrolment Number)
 EPS Name: Engineering and Construction
2. In the Projects view, create a new project under the EPS you have created, with the following
attributes:
 Project ID: EC00_ _ _ (Last 3 digits of your Enrolment Number)
 Project Name: New Home Construction
 Project Planned Start: 04-FEB-2019
 Currency: Indian National Rupees
 Project Calendar: 6x8
3. In the WBS view, create the following Work Breakdown Structure for your New Home
Construction project:

4. Create a new layout for Activity Entry with the columns selected as shown below:
5. Add the following activities to your New Home Construction project:
6. Enter the following relationships in P6 file:
