Biolab Zrt was established in 1991 in Budapest, Hungary. Over the years Biolab Zrt has become the market lead-
er in Hungary in the production of IVD products for microbiology. We actively operate in the supply to the follow-
ing fields: clinical laboratories, food and water industry, pharmaceutical industry and university and sci-

High quality culture media

With nearly 30 years of experience Biolab can boast of 400


formula developed for microbiology. Some of our top quali-
ty culture media are: Mueller Hinton Agar, Columbia Agar,
MacConkey Agar, XLD Agar and Nutrient Agar. Our media
developed for food and water are according to ISO formula-
tions. You can check our complete range of media in our prod-
uct list.

Dehydrated culture media

We supply dehydrated culture media in 500g packages


but bulk packages (5, 10, 25, 50 kg) are also available.

For the preparation of culture media we offer freeze-dried and liquid


supplements and solutions. Supplements can come in a KIT form sup-
plied together with the dehydrated media in the necessary quantity.

All of our culture media are available in bottled (100, 250, 500 ml), plated (55, 90 mm) and tubed forms (3, 4, 9, 10 ml).

types of surface and waste water, particularly
those rich in suspended matter, such as bathing

At Biolab plastic facility state-of-the art moulding


machines manufacture Petri dishes in mutiple sizes
(35, 55, 65, 90, 140 mm). Petri dishes are aseptic or
gamma-irradiated.

A wide range of other IVD plastic disposables; swabs,


applicators, centrifuge tubes, containers and loops etc.
