Minor Project Synopsis Submission
NOTICE
All the students of 7th semester are hereby informed that they have to submit project synopsis
latest by 30th August 2021 after discussing and getting final approvals from respective guide
and co-guide(if any). The following points should be noted while submitting the synopsis:
1. The project synopsis should be in the format as per ANNEXURE.
2. Synopsis submission file type should be .pdf.
3. File naming format for synopsis submission should be synopsis_projectID.

Note: Only one synopsis per team signed by your guide and co-guide(if any) has to be

ANNEXURE
Format for Minor Project Synopsis
Title page: (Sample page given at end of the document)
Introduction: (should not exceed 3 pages)
The introduction part will include the brief introduction about the project to be
developed, the technology used, the field of the project (if specialized one), any special
technical terms about the project.
Objective:
The objective of the project should be in bullets.
Feasibility Study: (should not exceed 1 page)
This will describe the very first step of software engineering i.e. feasibility study
of the project that includes the feasibility, need and significance of the project
Methodology/ Planning of work (should not exceed 1 page)
The methodology will include the steps to be followed to achieve the objective of the
project during the project development.
a) Details of, from where problem is taken e.g. latest hackathon URL or details of
research approach/base paper after reading research papers or details of organization
for whom making project
b) Software/Hardware requirements.
c) Benefits of the project for the society
Bibliography
Here specify the descriptions of the study material referred for the development of
the project.
SPECIFICATIONS FOR SYNOPSIS
1. The synopsis shall be computer typed (English- British, Font -Times Roman, Size-12
point) and printed on A4 size paper.
2. The Synopsis shall be typed on one side only with double space with a margin 3.5 cm
on the left, 2.5 cm on the top, and 1.25 cm on the right and at the bottom.
3. The diagrams should be printed on a light/white background, Tabular matter should
be clearly arranged. The decimal point may be indicated by a full stop(.)The caption
for Figure must be given at the BOTTOM of the Fig. and Caption for the Table must
be given at the TOP of the Table.
