Hytera Encryption Explained

The document discusses encryption types and algorithms available for Hytera terminals. Basic encryption uses a proprietary Hytera algorithm and offers minimal security. Full encryption with 40-bit encryption uses the ARC4 algorithm and is compatible with other manufacturers. Full 256-bit encryption uses the AES or proprietary Hytera algorithm and requires an optional license for the highest level of security by randomly selecting encryption keys.
