TESTIFICANDUM ACCUSED, represented by the Public Attorney’s Office, unto the Honorable Court, most respectfully avers:
1. That this case has been set for hearing on November 16, 2020 at 8:30 o’clock in the morning;
2. That these are for the defense’ presentation of evidence and the defense intends to present the accused, himself as witness;
3. That in view of the foregoing, the undersigned counsel is constrained to
pray for the issuance of subpoena ad testificandum for him to be brought in Court considering that as culled from the records accused is presently detained at BJMP Sorsogon City;
4. That this motion is projected to expedite the proceedings of these cases
and for the accused to be given a chance his day in Court.
WHEREFORE, premises considered, it is most respectfully prayed for
before the Honorable Court, that subpoena ad testificandum be issued to the accused, addressed to the Jail Warden of Sorsogon City, for him to appear and testify on said scheduled hearing.
Such other reliefs just and equitable under the premises are likewise prayed for.
