What is Android Enterprise Work Profile?
Android Enterprise is a program for devices running on the Google Android mobile
operating system that allows Admins to manage work accounts, apps, and data on a work-
specific profile. Personal data on the device is kept separate from work data and admins
don't control personal settings or data. Intune helps you to deploy apps and settings for
Android Enterprise work profile devices.
Requirements:
An android device running on OS version 8.0 and above (to check OS version, navigate to
phone Settings->About phone->Software/Android version)
Before you start enrolling, please un-install Teams and Outlook app (If already
installed)

7. Next, you will see below screens
10. It will take few seconds to add device to Intune and create work profile, tap on
Done to complete the enrollment and you will see your device in Company
Portal app home page
11. If you already have 6-digit complex numeric PIN on your phone, you will receive
the notification as shown below, tap on it and confirm device PIN.
Note: You need to change the Work Profile PIN for every 90 days but not the
device PIN. The best option is to use different PIN for Work Profile and Device.
To setup a Work profile PIN, navigate to phone settings and type “Work Profile”
in search bar and then turn OFF use one lock and follow steps 13-15. If you are
unable to find Work Profile in search result, then search with “use one lock”.
12. If you already have a simple Numeric PIN on your phone, you will see below
notification, tap on secure your work profile
13. Enter your current device PIN to confirm and tap Next
16. If you would like to setup Fingerprint for the Work Profile, tap on Fingerprints
How to Configure Outlook App
1. Once you enrolled, Outlook app will be installed automatically (in Work Profile tab).
Open the app and tap on GET STARTED
2. Enter your Portal [email protected] in email address field and tap on Continue
3. Next, tap on MAYBE LATER and then SKIP
5. Next, Outlook app will ask to set 6-digit PIN, you can use same as your Work Profile
PIN. Once PIN is set you can unlock the app later with fingerprint.
6. To Sync Work Contacts with phone native contacts, please click on the icon on top
left corner of the app
7. Click on Settings and then tap on your Office 365 account name and Turn ON

Note: If you have setup a separate a PIN and Fingerprint for the work profile, all Microsoft
apps (Outlook, Teams, Word etc.) will inherit same fingerprint, if not, you need to setup a
separate 6-digit PIN for these apps.
What has been Installed
Scroll your phone home screen from bottom to top once and you will see screen as below.
In the Work tab you will see only enterprise data which is separated from Personal data
Company Portal App: This app monitors your device to make sure it is not hacked
(Rooted), complies with the NTT DATA security policy, installs any apps that are required,
and it allows you (or the NTT DATA IT Support team) to have limited remote control like
doing an Enterprise Wipe, Work Profile passcode change, device lock, etc.
My Files: Any files downloaded from the enterprise apps will be available here
Outlook: You will access your NTT DATA account emails here
Play Store: All the enterprise apps made available from Intune will be available here
