    Q: Why the 4G camera does not support connecting the network cable？

    R: In the 4G camera, we think the "hotspot mode" is more suitable for the camera, but the "hotspot

    mode" and the camera cable interface can not work at the same time, we need "hot mode" to keep work

    on the 4G camera, but the network cable interface is not necessarily necessary for the 4G camera.

    Q: What is hotspot mode?

    R: When the 4G camera is connected to the power supply to start work, there will be a wireless hotspot

    that can be found like a wireless router, Wireless hotspot name is "MIFI _ ****", the default password is

    "1234567890", You can use the phone or computer to connect this wireless hotspot as follows:

    Q: What can I do when I connect wireless hotspot?

    R: 1. configure the camera, you can configure the camera through the browser to open the
    "192.168.100.100" as picture below (recommended computer operation):

    Run APP “CamHi” on your phone also can connect and configure the camera:

    3. If you insert SIM card on 4G camera and work correctly, the wireless hotspot can also access the

    internet, for example, you can use the phone to connect this wireless hotspot access the internet or set

    other WIFI IP cameras to connect this wireless hotspot and online!!

    So please note:

    all devices of connected to wireless hotspot will consume the traffic of SIM card!!

    Prevent other people from connecting wireless hotspots and consuming your traffic, modify

    the wireless hotspot password or other security settings!

    4. When connecting wireless hotspot, watching and playing back videos of camera does not

    consume traffic!

    5. If the 4G camera has been installed and you need to check the 4G camera, the wireless hotspot is

    convenient you do not need to remove the camera or connect the network cable.
    Q: Wireless hotspot is great but if i want to turn it off?

    R: On the 4G page"192.168.100.1" - "WI-FI settings" You can turn it off.

    Please note that if you turn off the wireless hotspot "MIFI _ ***", you will not be able to configure the

    4G parameters! Unless you reset the 4G module, look at the next question.

    Q: Why the configuration is not fully restored factory after reset 4G camera？Such as 4G parameters are

    not restored after reset 4G camera？

    R: The 4G camera consists of two parts: the camera (192.168.100.100) and the 4G (192.168.100.1)

    The reset button can only restore the parameters of the camera (192.168.100.100)

    If you want to restore the parameters of 4G (192.168.100.1), you must open the camera to find the

    reset button in the 4G PCB module as shown below:
