What is Quora?
Quora is a free question-and-answer website where
people can answer and ask question according to their
general interest. People also use quora for search and
queries like we do on Google but on Quora traffic is low as
compare to Google but still it’s a very large platform to
build your social network and to run ads and can increase
traffic to your site and it also has social media features
like you can share,comment,upvote,message,post etc.
What are the uses of Quora?
Quora is use for many reasons, depend upon how you use it.

● It is use for queries.


● It is use to find answers to your questions.
● It is use to share knowledge.
● It is use to make money.
● It is use for interact with other people and connect with them.
● You can read about latest/current topics.
● You can build your social profile strong.
● You can promote your brand/service/product.
● You can be a expertise in a particular a topic.
Types of Quora Marketing
There are 2 types of quora marketing-

● Organic Marketing
● Paid Marketing

Organic Marketing- we can do organic marketing on quora here is the strategy to


do organic marketing-

● First we have to make our profile strong to gain the trust of quora and users it
helps to bring views on your profile.
● Put right information in your bio and mention your website or other social media
link.
● You can follow topics of your favourite niche in which you are interested and
start doing question-answering on it.
● Find keywords directly on google and can find question of quora on your

Paid Marketing- We can do paid marketing on quora.Here is the strategy for paid
marketing-

● First make an account on “Advertising on Quora”


● Then goes to the profile panel where you will see ad manager section.
● Goes to Billing and payment and your bank account here and paypal account also.
● Current Billing Threshold- CBT is a specific amount that is 1795 INR on which quora will charge you
on your ad.
● In manage ads you can see all you campaigns and ads, you can also edit them.

How to Create Campaign?

● Select Primary Targeting-
There are 4 types of targeting-

1. Contextual- you can target audience on the basis of


Broad-keywords,topic,Que-Answer according to your niche.
2. Audience- you can create new audience or can target on the based of web
traffic, or contact list.
3. Behavioral- you can target only to users who have specific interest or to those
users who have recently viewed specific keyword, question.
4. you can target broadest possible users on quora.

● Choose targeting location.


● Choose Platform & Browser Targeting.
● Add email targeting on quora digest.
● Select Demographic of users.
● Exclude specific questions or audience.
● Set bid According to your budget.
● Select ad delivery option- Optimize your ad delivery for traffic to your website
or landing page or select Impression to optimize your ad delivery to show your
ad to as many people as possible.Then click to continue.
● Create Ad name.
● Select Ad Format.

1. Image Ad- An ad that contains text, an image, and your company logo.
2. Text Ad- An ad that contains primarily text and no images.
3. Promote an answer- An ad that promotes an existing answer so that it appears
more prominently for users on Quora. You just have to add URL of your answer.
