According to the chart, the high income group in Britain spent the most money on hamburgers compared to fish and chips and pizza. While consumption of hamburgers and fish and chips rose steadily in the first ten years, pizza was most popular in 1970 but its popularity decreased substantially over the period.

Writing Task 1 – Combined chart & graph.

The chart provides the data on the weekly junk food expense expense on junk food in the UK in 1990.
The graph illustrates the amount of Hamburger, Fish & Chips and Pizza consumed over the 20-year
period from 1970 to 1990.

Overall, the more income people earned, the more money they spent on fast food. Additionally, the
amount of that consumption was rising had risen/rose in the two decades.

According to the chart, British people from the high salary group in Britain mostly preferred Hamburger
rather over than Fish & Chips and Pizza. The amount of money expenditure for Hamburger per week
was double to the sum of others. For consumers from the groups of average and low income groups,

Pizza pizza was the least popular, specifically the expenditure on Pizza pizza was nearly one-fifths one-
