Keydous NJ80 User’s Guide

Bluetooth Pairing Guide


1. Hold down FN + 1 for at least 3 seconds, the keyboard will enter Bluetooth
pairing mode. Flashing “1” key indicate the keyboard is in Bluetooth pairing
mode.
2. Open Bluetooth setting on the device (I.e.: Mobile Phone, Laptop or PC) to pair
with the keyboard, select “BT5.0KN” (Choose BT3.0KB on Windows 7) in the
Bluetooth devices menu to connect.
3. The device will indicate Bluetooth connection is successful, pairing is completed.
4. Repeat step 1 to 3 to connect your device to Bluetooth Slot 2 and 3 by using FN+
2 or FN + 3.
5. Tap FN + 1/2/3 to switch between the paired devices.

Using 2.4G Dongle


1. Turn on the power switch at the back of the keyboard.
2. Tap FN + 4, the “4” key will light up, insert the dongle (at the back of the
keyboard) to the USB port of your device.

RGB Lighting Commands
KEY COMBINATION FUNCTION
FN + ESC Change Lighting Effect/Backlight Mode
FN + Backspace Toggle on/off backlight
FN + Enter Change backlight color
FN + \| Change backlight effect
(RGB Wave (Left to Right), Ripple, Rain Drop, Snake, Follow,
Grouping, Sine Wave, RGB Wave (Center to Outwards), Random
RGB, Laser, RGB Circling, RGB Crossing, Breathing, Color Cycle)
FN + Tab Toggle power saving mode (Not available in wired mode)
• Caps Lock flash once
Enter power saving mode after 2 minutes of inactivity
• Caps Lock flash twice
Enter power saving mode after 30 minutes of inactivity
• Caps Lock flash thrice
Power saving mode deactivated
FN + ↑ Increase backlight brightness
FN + ↓ Decrease backlight brightness
FN + → Increase backlight effect speed
FN + ← Decrease backlight effect speed
Notes “Caps Lock” only lights up when Caps Lock is toggled, does not
follow light effect

F12 lighting indicates the battery level of the keyboard


• Flashing Red light: Low Battery
• Flashing Green light: Charging
When the keyboard is fully charged, F12 key lighting will return
to normal lighting.

Mac Layout
1. Tap FN + M to toggle Mac Layout. Spacebar will flash twice indicate MAC layout
activated, flash once indicates MAC layout deactivated.
2. In MAC layout, left “ALT” and “Win” key will swap position, right “Alt” become
“Win” and Right “CTRL” become “ALT”.
3. Tap FN + F to switch Function row (F1 to F12) to Multimedia keys or Standard
keys (Keyboard must be in MAC Layout mode).

Important Notes
1. Wifi signal will interfere with Bluetooth signal, Bluetooth receiver shall be placed
as far as possible from Wifi signal source.
2. Double check if the switch pins are aligned properly with the socket when
installing the switches, do not use brute force when installing/removing switches
as it may damage the hotswap sockets or causing solder pad to be lifted which
will damage the PCB.
3. The keyboard contains Lithium-Ion Battery, keep the keyboard away from high
temperature, high pressure and avoid direct sunlight. Store the keyboard in cold
and dry place if not in use for a long time, switch off the power button behind
the keyboard.
4. Please use only the included cable in the box to connect the keyboard to
PC/Laptop for charging. Charging current must not be greater than 1A.
5. To restore factory setting, hold down all 4 keys at the corners (Esc, Left CTRL, F12
and →) for 3 seconds.

NJ80 Reprogramming/Remapping Software and Driver


Keydous driver and reprogramming software for NJ80 allow users to remap the keys,
set up Macros, adjust multimedia keys setting, mouse setting and etc.
