Image Design-Text design
1. Click the text label you want to edit.
2. Set the related properties of the text
label in the text property box on the right.

Areas in the properties box:

⚫ Name. Input or modify the name of the text label here.
⚫ Location X, Locatin Y. To set X, Y coordinate position of
the text label.
⚫ Width,Height. To set width and height of the text label.
⚫ Visible. To determine whether the text label is visible or
not.

The fixed text is a kind of static text label, which can
not be changed in the machine after the edit is
finished.

⚫ .Click the fixed text you want to edit.

⚫ .Select fixed Text for the Data Source in the properties
window on the right.
⚫ .Enter the content in the text box.

Merge Text label is a combination that can combine two or more labels into a text.

About Merge Text Editor:

⚫ Click one text of the list in area 1.
⚫ Set the start number of the text to be merged and the length of it In area 2,
then the selected section will be displayed in the Selected area.
⚫ Click the Insert button in area 3,to show the selected section of the current text to
the list in area 5.
⚫ Then you can keep on selecting the text from the list in area 1, after setting its
start number and length ,insert it to another list in area 5.
⚫ When the items in area 5 are over two, you can arrange their order by using the
up or down arrow in area 4.
⚫ You can also delete any item in the list of area 5 by clicking the delete button.
Or click the Clear button in area 6 to delete them all.
⚫ You can see the exactly definition of all the operations about this merging, and
the preview of after merging in area 7.
⚫ Finally click the Save button in area 8 to finish the merge editing,
and then click the Exit button in this area to exit this Merge Text Editor.

Inputed text label refer to that users can not only input
the text label by software and edit it, but also can do it
on the printer touch screen.

⚫ Click the inputed text label you want to

edit.
⚫ Select Inputed Text for the Data Source
in the properties window on the right.
⚫ Enter the content in the text content
box.
⚫ Set the Text Length and Free Type for
the inputed text, after checked, you can
input the length number and choose
one of the types , left, center or right.

Counter text is used for counting.

⚫ Click the counter text label you want to edit.

⚫ Select Counter Text for the Data Source in the properties
window on the right.
⚫ Enter the content in the text content box.
⚫ The content of the text box can not be modified directly, but it
can be changed according to the following attributes.
⚫ Set the "fixed length": the number length of count, the default is
4 digits, can be adjusted up and down.
⚫ Set the "Min Value": the minimum value of the count, this value
can not be equal to or greater than the maximum value.
⚫ Set the: "Max Value": the maximum value of the number of
counts.
⚫ Set the "Start Value": the starting value of the count, can be
equal to or greater than the minimum, but not greater than the
maximum value.
⚫ Set the "Step Value": the value of the increment or decrement
when counting, the minimum is 1, the maximum is not greater
than the difference between the minimum and maximum value.
⚫ Set the "Repeat Count": the number of times about counts.

Machine ID text can be used for identification of the machine. The user
in the editing software add and edit this kind of text label, then find the
device ID in the advanced settings of the machine, click on it, the user
can modify the contents of the text

⚫ Click the machine ID text label you want to edit.

⚫ Select the machine ID Text for the Data Source in the properties
window on the right.
⚫ Enter the content in the text content box.

Line ID text can be used for identification of the Line. The user in the
editing software add and edit this kind of text label, then find the line ID
in the advanced settings , click on it, the user can modify the contents
of the text according to the need .

⚫ Click the line ID text label you want to edit.

⚫ Select the line ID Text for the Data Source in the properties
window on the right.
⚫ Enter the content in the text box.

User List text can be traced the Producer ID of the
products.

⚫ Click the user list text label you want to edit.

⚫ Select the user list Text for the Data Source in the
properties window on the right.
⚫ In the Character Attribute box, click the edit
button.

About User List Editor:
⚫ Enter the user ID in the user box of area 1.
Tips: User ID can only support 3 characters of English
alphabet or the number of Arabia.
⚫ Click the Insert button in area 2 ,the user ID will
display in the list of area 4.
⚫ You can keep on Entering the new user ID and
insert it to the list of area 4.
⚫ When the items in area 4 are over two , you can
arrange their order by using the Move up or Move
down button in area 3.
⚫ You can also delete any item in the list of area 4 by
clicking the delete button.
Or click the Clear button in area 3 to delete them all.
⚫ Finally click the Save button in area 5 to finish the
user list editing, and then click the Exit button in this
area to exit this user list Text Editor.

1. Click the button in the toolbox tag.

2. Position the date label in the edit workspace.
3. Select the date format in the properties window on the right.

⚫ Name .Input or modify the name of the date
label here.
⚫ Location X, Location Y. To set X, Y coordinate

⚫ Date Format . Select a date format from the
drop-down box.
⚫ Hour/Day/Month/Year Modify. Offset function,
machine date or time plus offset can be
obtained at the end of the date or time.
⚫ Font Name, Style, Font Width, Font Height .
To select one of the following fonts: Arial,
Batang, Gulim and so on. To select one of
the following styles: B(bold),I(incline),
U(underline).To set width and height of the
font.

⚫ Set the numbers for such as years, month, day,
minutes.
⚫ Determine the separation symbols (such as "/
")for date format.
⚫ Insert the numbers and the seperation symbols
into the new date format.
⚫ Explain the meanings of selected character in
area 1.
⚫ Display the objects which are inserted after in
order . The Clear button can delete all of them.
⚫ Show the data format you have decided and the
preview of the current time in this current data
format . If you click the add button on the right ,
this kind of data format will be listed in the
following list in area 7.
⚫ List all the data formats that can be used and
modified.
⚫ Modify the data format.
⚫ Delete the data format.
⚫ Exit from this dialog.

3. Select the Barcode Type in the properties window on the right.Choose one of them,Code 128, QR
Code (two-dimensional code), EAN, Code 11, Standard 2of5, Interleaved 2of5, IATA 2of5.

About Property Window:
⚫ Barcode Type.To choose one of the
types from Code 128, QR Code(two-
dimensional code), EAN, Code 11,
Standard 2of5, Interleaved 2of5 and
IATA 2of5.
⚫ Scale. To set the scale of the barcode
label, there are 5 choices (1 times to 5
times)to select in the drop down list.
⚫ Text Length:4-200,the length scale can
not be modified.
⚫ Data Source: there are 3 choices to
select: Fixed Text, Merge Text , Inputed
Text.
⚫ Show Text: to show the text under the
barcode or not.

1.Click the button in the toolbox tag. And then select the logo file to be added in the
open files window.
2.Position the image label in the edit workspace.

⚫ Model.To choose Filled means the
rectangle wil be filled by black ,otherwise
to choose Line means this rectangle will
not be filled.
⚫ Visible.To determine whether the
rectangle label is visible or not.

Notice:Rotate the line label can get a vertical line.

Save and download image
file to printer
⚫ Through PC, set up two folds in USB
named “DIKAI”.
⚫ Save the edited image to DIKAI fold of
USB disk.
⚫ Insert USB disk in USB slot on controller,
wait printer to recognize the USB disk,
then log in “File Management ” screen.
⚫ Select USB and save image to printer.
⚫ Select the image file in local file list.

 Topic1-How to edit shift code
Shift code: replace time/day/month with specific characters , for example：there
are three shift workers of one day at one production line, we need to code “A1”
from 0:00-8:00,code “B1” from 8:00-16:00 and code “C1” from 16:00-24:00

Prepare work: Create two folds of “DIKAI” and “DKupdate” in USB disk.

⚫ Click the button in the toolbox tag.

⚫ Click the button beside date format.

⚫ At datetime format editor screen, select
SCT2 for the sampling design, (SCT –for
time shift, SCD for day shift and SCM for
month shift, 1,2 or 3 mean the character
number of shift codes , the max number is
three ) ，then click insert button, then
click add and exit button.
⚫ At property window , select date format
to “SCT2”.
⚫ Save the image file to DIKAI fold of USB
disk.

⚫ Fill A1 beside 00:00 and click add button.
⚫ Change 00:00 to 08:00 by Click the up and down
arrow button.
⚫ Fill B1 beside 08:00 and click add button.

⚫ Click Export button and save “config.sc” file to
“DKupdate” fold in USB disk.
⚫ Insert USB disk in controller, Download image file
at “File Management “ screen and download
config file after click shift code button.
⚫ Repower the printer and select the image including
shift code.
