Instructions for MS Teams & Learning Management System (LMS)
Please follow the given steps to attend the online examination.
1. Close all the open applications & it is recommended to remove or stop unwanted apps (eg :
torrent/ccleaner/skype, total 360 security virus guard, etc) in your laptop/desktop. Please ensure that
your windows operating system is up to date.
2. Log in to the MS Teams (Your Microsoft Teams Link will be received via email. Log into your email &
click the link which is from the Institute)
3. Proctor will verify you via MS Teams.
4. Login to the EXAM LMS using normal web browser (eg:- google chrome or Firefox)

5. Select your Exam paper.

6. Go inside your Exam paper & click on the “Download Configuration”. Configuration file will be
downloaded to your download folder in your laptop.
Note:- Please ensure that you have downloaded the correct configuration file relevant to
correct subject.
7. Double click on the downloaded configuration file & it will be open automatically via safe exam
browser.
Note:- Students must have installed the correct version of Safe Exam Browser for their
computer.
8. Enter your EXAM LMS credentials & log in to the EXAM LMS again via safe exam browser.
9. Finally wait until the Quiz is open.
Note: - If the quiz isn’t open in time please be kind enough to reload your page by click on
refresh button appear top left corner.
10. Recommended to download AnyDesk app before the exam to student’s laptop/desktop, if technical
assistance is required technical team member can assist the candidate using this app.

Microsoft Teams Instructions
STEP 1:
Your Microsoft Teams Link will be received via email. Log into your email & click the link which is from the
Institute.
STEP 2:
Go to the bottom of the page. Then you can see the link.
Eg :- Click here to join the meeting
STEP 3:
• If you are going to use your laptop to log in to the MS Teams Please follow below step.
1. Right click on the “Click here to join the meeting” & copy the hyperlink and paste in the
web browser and press Enter button.
2. Then you can see how the Ms Teams open. select "continue on this bowser".
• If you are going to use separate device to log in to the MS-Teams Please follow below
step.(Smart Phone/Tab or any other devise with a camara)
1. Go to the bottom of the page. Then you can see the link.
Eg :- Click here to join the meeting
2. Click on the link .
Note – Students must have installed MS Teams application to their mobile device if they are
planning to use separate mobile device to login to MS Teams using their mobile device.
STEP 4:
Once you open teams using one of the above methods, you will get the following screen. Enter your
student no. together with the name. (123456-John)
STEP 5:
Click Join Now / Join as a Guest and the organizer will let you in to the meeting.
Note:-
(Please make sure you have a quiet place to attend the session and that your laptop is charged.
Please keep the Video and Microphone on during the session.)
LMS Instructions
To access the CA LMS please use the below URL,

Step 1:
Login to the CA LMS with your credentials via web browser (eg:- google chrome or Firefox).
Step 2:
Next access the Business Communication I (CS1) Examination -September 2021

Select Business Level 1
Select the Professional Skills
Step 3:
Candidate should click and open the “Download Configuration” button in the CS1.

Click on the “Download configuration file”
Double Click on the “Download configuration
file”. It will be automatically open via SEB
Note: -If you unable to find downloaded file location. Please go to the default file downloaded location in
your pc/laptop.
Step 4:
You have to Login again to the CA LMS with your credentials via Safe Exam browser and select your exam.
Now you will be able to see the Attempt Quiz now button.

Click on the “ATTEMPT QUIZ NOW” to start your mock exam
Note –
• Please wait until the commencement of the quiz.
• Please be kind enough to reload your page time to time before quiz is commenced.
Enter quiz Password and click Start Attempt button to start the examination
Note- Quiz password will be communicated by your proctor.

Once you have completed the examination click on the “Finish Attempt” button to submit the paper/finish the

Click on the Quit button to exit
