The procedure for IRS Point Machine with Clamp Lock and Ground Connection
arrangement 60 Kg (with Thick Web Switch) as per RDSO as per RDSO DRG. No.
RDSO/S3454 is as follows:
(A) Marking & drilling holes for Clamp Lock Assembly
(a) Stock rail

(b) Tongue rail


(B) Marking & drilling holes for ground connections (Lock and detector rods)
(a) If point machine is connected to Left hand- side.

(b) If point machine is connected to Right hand- side.

(C) Holes for Switch extension brackets (P brackets) to connect ground connections (Lock
and detector rods)
