1. To connect a PC or laptop to the router, connect one end of a LAN cable to the LAN port on the router and the other end to the PC. Find the router's IP address using ipconfig on the PC. 2. If a PC is unavailable, connect a mobile device to the router's Wi-Fi by finding the Wi-Fi name and password on the router and entering them in the mobile settings. 3. To log into the router administration page, enter the router's IP address into a web browser. Common default usernames and passwords are listed. PPPoE or wireless settings can then be configured.

Connect Your PC/Laptop to the Router

Configuring Your Router


STEP 1 (a): Connect Your PC to the Router
• Unbox the router and power up the router.
• Connect the Act internet cable to the
WAN/Internet port(different coloured port) of the
router.
• An extra LAN cable will be available with the
router, connect one end of LAN cable to the LAN
port(1-4) of the router(any one port) and one end
to the PC or Laptop.
• In the system press key & R key together
to open Run dialog box.
• Type ipconfig on the command prompt(Black
screen) . The default gateway of the LAN or
Ethernet adapter will be the Router address.
(Ex:192.168.0.1)
Connect Your Mobile
If a Laptop/PC is not available then you can connect your phone to the router via Wi-Fi.
Look at the back side of the router to get Wi-Fi Name and Password. Connect to the Wi-Fi using the mentioned
Password.
1. Go to settings in the Mobile, turn on Wi-Fi and wait until the mobile detects router name press the router
name to connect.
2. Enter the Password to connect
3. Continue by logging into the router using steps below.
Logging into the Router
1. Open a web browser
2. Enter the below IP Address in the Address Bar. A login page appears.
3. The usual usernames and passwords are given in the table below.

If all the above credentials do not work, please check these details on the back of your router
Internet Connectivity – PPPoE Configuration
1. Click on ‘Network’ on the
left side and then choose
‘Internet’
2. Set ‘Internet Connection
Type’ as PPPoE
3. Enter your ‘ACT Login ID’
in the ‘PPPoE username
field’
4. Enter the ACT password In
the ‘PPPoE password field’
5. Click on Save
Wi-Fi Connectivity – Router SSID/Password Configuration
1. Select ‘Wireless’ option on the
left and go to ‘Basic Settings’
2. Type in your preferred Wi-Fi
name in ‘SSID’(Network name
dialog box) and give different
name for both 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz.
3. Type in your desired password
4. click on Save
