Structural Dynamics

This document outlines the course objectives, outcomes, contents, and assessments for the Structural Dynamics course. The course aims to (1) expose students to principles of dynamic analysis, (2) familiarize students with 2-degree of freedom systems, and (3) make students confident in analyzing multi-degree of freedom systems. On completion, students will be able to understand dynamic analysis principles, analyze structures for dynamic loads, and apply direct integration methods. The course covers topics like single/multi-degree of freedom systems, continuous systems, and direct integration methods. Student performance is evaluated through formative assessments, continuous assessment tests, and a final exam.
