This Philippine National Standard is identical with International Standard
ISO 23469:2005 - Bases for design of structures - Seismic actions for designing
geotechnical works. It was approved for adoption as Philippine National Standard by
the Bureau of Philippine Standards.
Within the text of the standard, the following are the minimal editorial changes:
a) the decimal comma shall be interpreted as decimal point to be consistent with
existing Philippine convention on number formatting;
b) the words "International Standard" shall mean "Philippine National Standard".
