    ACTIVTIY 1

    1, The term "history" refers to a search for knowledge and truth, as well as a search for answers.We can
    learn about the construction, operation, and evolution of past communities, institutions, ideologies,
    governments, cultures, and technology by studying history. The world's rich past aids us in painting a
    detailed picture of where we are now.

    2. History allows us to examine and comprehend how people and communities functioned in the past.
    We can, for example, judge war by looking back on prior occurrences, even while a country is at peace.
    History gives us the information we need to make laws or formulate ideas about many areas of society.

    3. Discuss at least 3 nature of history.

    1. History is a study of the present in the light of the past.

    The past is responsible for the present. Understanding how society arrived at its current state
    necessitates knowledge of its past.

    2. History of study man

    As one historian put it, history is about man's struggles throughout history.

    3. History is concerned with man in time.

    It is concerned with a series of occurrences, each of which occurs at a specific moment.

    4. PRIMARY SOURCE

    The source of the "Best Evidence" is considered to be a primary source. This is due to the fact that the
    data is based on the testimony of able eyewitnesses to former events. They could also include actual
    artifacts from the past that you can inspect or investigate.

    SECONDARY SOURCE

    Information provided by a person who was not a firsthand observer or participant of the event, item, or
    situation is referred to as a secondary source.

    5. Students can use primary sources to improve their knowledge, skills, and analytical abilities. Students
    ask questions, think critically, make educated conclusions, and generate reasoned explanations and
    interpretations of events and issues in the past and present when working with primary
    materials.Primary sources are more credible as evidence, but good research uses both primary and
    secondary sources.
