    A. Technical Information
    1. Rationale
    The Doña Barbara Integrated Farm is a farm established in the town of Tinambac, Camarines Sur
    and had its humblest beginning in 2015. It started with 3 sow levels and 1 boar then slowly
    converted to integrated farm with fishpond, ducks and native chickens.
    Doña Barbara Integrated Farm wants to acquire certification as Learning Site for Agriculture
    (LSA) to Complement the workforce of ATI on the delivery of Agriculture Extension Services and give
    an opportunity to the farmers to enhance their skills, knowledge and to learn advance technology of
    farming. In order to achieve this objective Doña Barbara Integrated Farm needs the support of
    Agricultural Training Institute from accreditation to fund support for the programs. This additional
    support as provided in the program of Agricultural Training Institute under the Department of
    Agriculture for Learning Site of Agriculture (LSA) will enable Doña Barbara Integrated Farm to reach
    out more local farmers to increase their awareness on sustainable production and post-production
    technologies and acquire skills to improve farm yields and profits.

    2. Objectives
    This project aims to acquire certification as Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) of ATI
    Bicol and seek for a possible assistance to complement the features and capability of the
    farm in providing agricultural extension service in our community specifically, it aims to:

    i. Complement the workforce of ATI on the delivery of Agriculture Extension Services;


    ii. Provide Technology demonstration area for farmers and other interested clients
    iii. Conduct Agriculture related training and other interventions.

    3. Activities
    a. Obtain and manage support funds from DA-ATI and TESDA
    b. Purchase of training equipment, tools and other necessary materials

    c. Conduct trainings and related education and information dissemination services.
    4. Expected Outputs
    a. Support funds amounting to Php143,806.00 released
    b. Basic training equipment, tools and other necessary materials acquired
    c. 500 farmers and other clients trained/served for a period of 5 years and become
    competent and knowledgeable for the new technology of farming.
    d. The Doña Barbara Integrated Farm is widely known and well established within 5
    years.
    5. Beneficiary
    Clients shall include local farmers and other individual or groups interested in rice inbred
    production and other agri-base technologies especially indigent community.
