This document describes how to control outdoor lighting using motion detection, a twilight switch, and impulse relays. An Argus motion detector controls lighting 1 when movement is detected and the brightness is below the darkness threshold. An iTL impulse relay controls lighting 2 manually via a push button or automatically via an IC2000 twilight switch. The iRTH time delay relays transform the latched order from the twilight switch into an impulse for the iATLc+s impulse relay auxiliary, which can also remotely indicate the on/off status of lighting 2.

How to control outdoor lighting by motion detection,

ISC01742EN
a twilight switch and impulse relays?
The Argus motion detector controls lighting 1 if: iC60N iC60N Cell
b the movement of a passer-by cuts the infrared beams,
b brightness is below the Argus’s darkness detection setting.
Argus Presence
The iTL impulse relay controls lighting 2:
b by manual pressing of push-button S1,
b automatically by the IC2000 twilight switch. The iRTH time delay relays transform the latched order from the IC2000 into an impulse order
that can be processed by the iATLc+s impulse relay auxiliary.

The iATLc+s impulse relay combined with indicators may be used for remote indication of lighting 2 "ON" and "OFF".
