GlobalProtect-Duo VPN - Domain User Guide v1.4
Download GlobalProtect.
- After downloading Global Protect, please contact SD team to install it on your machine
remotely (it can be done via Skype for Business) using their admin privileges.
- Choose OS type:
- Now, open Duo Mobile application from your mobile phone, click + icon at top right, the
camera will open and you need to scan the QR code:
- Once the QR is correctly scanned, you’ll get the following screen, click Continue:
- Now that you have finished the enrollment process, you can start using the DUO token:
- Upon clicking “Sign In”, you will receive the following message on your mobile phone:
- Click “TAP TO VIEW ACTIONS”, then click “APPROVE”
- Or, click on the received notification to open Duo Mobile application, then click “APPROVE”
Troubleshooting
- Click on 3 dashes at top right, then click on “Settings”
If it’s not running, then contact SD team to start the service manually using admin privileges
and change its “Startup Type” to “Automatic (Delayed Start)”
Re-install GlobalProtect
If installation of GlobalProtect was corrupted for any reason, and you need to re-install it,
please contact SD team to apply the below steps:
- Control Panel > Programs and Features
Uninstall GlobalProtect
- Delete folder: C:\Program Files\Palo Alto Networks
- Delete folder: C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Palo Alto Networks
- From start menu, open “Run”, write “regedit” and click OK to open Registry Editor
Delete registry key “HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Palo Alto Networks”
Delete registry key “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Palo Alto Networks”
- Restart Windows
- Open any web browser, visit https://vpn.asiacell.com
Login with same credentials that you use for VPN
- Download GlobalProtect and install it.
- Restart Windows
