1
Registration
Navigate to https://as-teg.com and click on the ‘Request Access’ button. This will present a
registration form for you to fill out and submit.

This will create an approval request for an Eserv administrator to review your details and the assets
you are requesting. If your request is approved, you will receive a confirmation email letting you
know request has been successful and you may log in to the platform. Any unknown requests will
be issued to the client for review and approval.

2
Login
After you have had your request approved by an administrator, you can proceed to login. To do this,
navigate to https://as-teg.com/login and enter your details. If your company domain is setup with
our Single Sign-On (SSO) service then you can also use the alternative method to login with
Microsoft. This will log you in without the need to enter your password.

Once you have successfully logged in, you will be brought to the ‘Assets’ page.

3
Asset Navigation
The ‘Assets’ page shows you a grid view of all the assets you have access to. If you do not see an
asset that you believe you should have access to please contact [email protected].

To go further into an asset’s page, just click anywhere on the asset card. This will load the elevation
view of the asset, along with numerous clickable sections representing the separate areas on the
asset. Navigating is very simple, just click on one of the sections to navigate further into the asset or
use the back button in your browser to go back one level.

4
Once you navigate through to a module plot-plan, you will see multiple image locations denoted by
small icons. Clicking on these icons will open up that respective scan location in a 360 viewer. From
here you can view the image within the scan, move between scans using the mini-map or create
annotations. See the next section for more details on this.

5
Accessing 3D Point Cloud
For accessing the 3D point cloud data that associates to the 360‫ ﹾ‬panoramic image for viewing, you
will need to navigate to the plot-plan and click the ‘3D Point-Cloud View’ button at the top-right
corner.

This button will take you to the 3D Point Cloud of the area you were previously in. From here, you
can use the sidebar for a number of different visual tool. Shown below is an example of taking a
measurement by selecting the measurement button from the sidebar and picking the points. Also
highlighted is the button used for taking screenshots.

6
Shown below is an example of reviewing a new design change within the as-built point cloud data
for a constructability review. To navigate around the point cloud data, click on the 3D Navi icon.

7
Viewing a Panoramic Image
Clicking on an image icon on the plot-plan view will load the image in the viewer page.

A basic list of viewer functions is provided below:

• ROTATE: Click and drag

• ZOOM: Scroll with mouse wheel or use buttons in toolbar
• CREATE ANNOTATION: Click on the annotation icon at the bottom of the screen, then click
where the annotation should go within the image.
• OPEN ANNOTATION: Click the annotation marker
• DELETE ANNOTATION: Opening the annotation side panel shows the delete button and asks
the user to confirm the deletion of the tag. This confirmation supersedes the old
functionality of double-clicking and prevents the user accidently deleting an annotation.
• OPEN OVERVIEW MAP: Click the green button with the map icon
o MINI-MAP: Opens the map in a small overlay in the bottom-right side of the screen
o SPLIT-SCREEN: Open the map with 50% of the screen
o MINI-SCAN: Opens the full screen map with a small overlay of the scan image in the
bottom-right side of the screen

Tagging
Creating a tag, as described previously, will open a sidebar menu.

There are four category options to choose from:

1. Equipment: General tag for equipment

2. Integrity: Select an area with the polygon before choosing the stage of the anomaly.
3. MOC: General tag for MOCs
4. Observation: General tag for communication or points of interest.

It is important that when creating or editing a tag that all the fields are completely accurately and
you click the submit button. All information populated within each tag reflect onto the insights page
and searching functions.

Integrity Tag

The integrity tag option is the only significantly different one with respect to the data fields available..
There are a further four options for specifying the type of the tag.

The following images show the process of creating an integrity tag, defining the polygon points
around the area required and filling out the data fields for an integrity tag.

9
Create the tag and select ‘Integrity Tag’:

Select the polygon points around the area of interest and click finish:

10
Select the type of tag you are creating from one of the four options:

Now fill out the form fields for the tag and submit when done:

All tags created can be viewed, filtered and searched within the insights page.

11
Using the Insights Page

The insights page is where you can view, filter and find all tags created in the asset you are in. Using
a combination of the pie charts, text filtering tool and search function within the tag list, you can
quickly find what you are looking for and jump to the scan location that contains that tag.

Using the pie charts, you can filter by:

• Tag Type
• Tag Status
• Equipment
• Due Date

To activate the filter, simply click on the segment of the pie chart you wish to filter by. They can also
be combined to filter more precisely. For example, you could filter for tags that are of ‘Temporary
Repair’ type, have a ‘Fabrication’ status and are expiring within 2 years.

Along with this, you can also you the text box provided above the list of annotations to search for
any text in the annotation content.

12
You can click the name of the scan in the 1st column to navigate to the scan where the tag is present
which will load the viewer and turn to face the annotation.

Plant Model
Some assets have a feature available called ‘Plant Model’, which is effectively utilising the assets
existing Navisworks/PDMS model. Clicking on this will load the 3D Design Model of the platform in
a viewer that allows full exploration of the model. Eserv plans to integrate this with the image data
to provide a synchronised split-screen viewer allowing you to move around in either the image or
the model and constantly be updating the position in either viewer.

Navigating and using the plant model is very intuitive. With use of the navbar tools at the bottom of
the screen you can make your way around with ease.
